I just took a shower in one of our new bathrooms and it was like going to a fancy spa or hotel. I could not have envisioned it this great at the start, it has completely transformed our home. Feels almost unreal to have such beautiful, high end rooms in our home now! I had never done a remodel before and had barely posted the job on Angie’s list when Mila reached out and set the standard for what a consultation could be like. She had ideas for what could be done and David was nearby with his crew and could take a quick look so I got a brief feel for their teamwork. I talked with 5 groups in person and this team had a great cost/value balance and were willing to help me customize it how I wanted. Mila told me about their 3D design option and that reminded me that I do something somewhat similar for my job, so I mocked up the space in Maya and designed out several options that Mila looked through and helped me narrow down. Printouts of those posted on a wall at the job site really helped keep everyone on the same page. David’s attitude on the job was wonderful to be around, he values his team and is so positive. His crew worked fast and I had to hustle to keep up to order the materials in time. Both he and Mila went tile shopping with me and were a big help. There are so many options! If I were to go back I would have spent time picking out the exact pieces I wanted from the store we went with rather than done delivery—natural stone has huge variations so I was surprised by some of the tile when it came. The team was so fast that some of the stone had gone up before I saw it and several pieces were too dark. They were very understanding of the issue and fixed it when I brought pieces that were more representative of what we selected in the store. They consistently proved how trustworthy they were and backed up what they said from the beginning: that they were here for me, had my back and wanted me to be happy with the final product! Whenever I had a request or wasn’t sure with how something was coming together they took the time to walk me through it, listen to my perspective and shift if it made sense and would make me more confident in the process. I truly appreciated each time they double checked with me for my opinion and noticed when something was off! (For example, I had picked two grout colors thinking one was whitish and the other grey when in reality they were both almost the same in color! The crew caught it and I was able to get the right one quickly.) It was a huge collaboration, I’ll admit I wasn’t aware how much if my time researching and being available would be needed at first. It has been a steep learning curve but Mila and David were there for me. (Probably didn’t help that I designed and built some of the furniture to fit the space on the time investment side, but it paid off) Thank you Geico Builders for the stunning bathrooms! Bob had a lot of great ideas to make the kennel and dog turf super secure, so our dog could not dig his way out or damage the area. So far two weeks post project, the kennel is holding up well with no damage to dog or kennel! The only thing that might have been better is communication about when work would be done and consistency of workers to complete the job, but they got us in promptly, and we are grateful for that."

I spoke to David and he came out and estimated the work quickly. When I was ready to start they came out and did an amazing job. David and Sharita are a really good team. David also has a really good group of guys working with him that are precise and quick. My family was in over our head with a vacation planned in the middle of the job. The team was patient with our rookie scheduling mistake. David was patient with the entire project. This was our families first renovation project and they made it seamless! Hire them! You are less likely to overwater your lawn with a professional irrigation system, which will cause a reduction in water usage. These systems use the right amount of water without waste. Lawn irrigation is the process of getting water to your lawn, grass and all, for it to grow. There are five main types of lawn irrigation methods:
Manual irrigation puts you in charge of the flow of water. Using a sprinkler head on your hose is best to evenly distribute the water across your entire lawn. This doesn’t take much time but requires you to be physically outside holding the hose.
Above-ground sprinklers attach to your hose and rotate or oscillate around your lawn. Since these are above-ground, they’ll need to be moved when it’s time to mow, and depending on the size of your property, you might need to move it around your yard for full coverage.
In-ground sprinklers are flush with the ground when not in use but pop up above the ground level when it's time to water the lawn. Piping for these sprinklers is all found underground, and there are different types of sprinkler heads for different uses and lawn sizes.
Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.
Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.
Even though having a lawn irrigation system to water your lawn is efficient, you do not want to run it daily. It’s best to run your system two to three times a week. The length of time to run your system varies on factors like wind, temperature, and the variety of your grass, but 10 to 20 minutes each time is generally preferred. If you water too frequently, you’ll drown your grass and plants.
The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose. For example, rotating or oscillating sprinkler heads are more expensive than stationary ones, making the cost for one sprinkler head $2.50 to $30 each. Likewise, a yard that is 1/4 of an acre in size averages a total average price of $2,460; however, a one-acre yard averages a cost of $9,840.
The total time it takes to install a lawn irrigation system is roughly one to two days. This includes digging trenches for any necessary underground piping, placing the piping, wiring, sprinkler heads, and valves, and connecting your sprinkler system to your water supply. If you have a lawn larger than one acre, or if there are any municipality regulations that extend the project, you can expect the timeline to be closer to two days.
