"Hello [Member Name Removed], Thank you for the great review. Working on your project was our pleasure. We are also glad that our commitment to quality and customer service were acknowledged. We do our best to keep high standards to make the process as seamless for our clients as possible. Thank you again for choosing our company and we hope you enjoy your yard for many years to come."
"[Member Name Removed], Sorry you seem to have had this experience. We will look into this deeper. Since this happened so long ago, that subcontractor no longer works with us. He have changed our business model to employee-based because of exactly these issues. I do not believe we heard from you when this was happening or we would have stepped in to help of course. As you can see from our current reviews, these issues are no longer a problem. Each salesperson contacts our client every day and we are on job-sites everyday unless rain or concrete has been poured. I know this experience was a few years ago, but truly am sorry you had it. It is not the way we run our business."

"[Member Name Removed], It was a pleasure working with you too. Having experienced and professional crews along with a wonderful office staff makes my job easy. Finding those boulders under the bushes in the corner that we could incorporate into you project was a nice surprise as well. Thank you so much for you business. Dan Jolly"
"[Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed], our project did not go the way we wanted it to and I am very sorry for this. The lot measurements were off, and I have worked with the designer who took them, putting new processes in place to make sure it doesn't happen again. We have done some retraining and I have reassured our designers that as much as they would like to answer clients' questions and get to know them, the time to do that is not while taking measurements. Anyone can make mistakes when rushed, so we have talked about slowing down and focusing. We are keeping the measurements and discussions separate, but we are still dedicated to spending time with clients to understand what they envision for their outdoor spaces. We are also looking into utilizing new technologies to take human error out of the equation, even though this is a very rare occurrence. We try to keep our projects moving along smoothly and make sure our clients are informed about the process and the many steps and permits involved. We love to tackle challenging projects and are looking into ways that we can ensure our clients know and understand the technical and safety factors involved up front. We have been in the landscape construction business so long that these things are second nature to us; in the future we will be more careful to stop and explain our processes and make sure our clients are aware when delays due to permits or gathering of more information come up. I am sorry that this project with your yard didn't go as smoothly as we would have liked and we want to work with you to fix it. About the retaining wall, I don't think we took enough time to explain this and ensure understanding. Placer County requires engineering and permits for retaining walls on level ground that exceed 4 feet, including footings (the part underground.) When people look at a concrete wall, they don't normally think about the section that is underground acting as an anchor. For construction on a hillside, the footing needs to be increased and the surcharge load needs to be taken into account to act as a better anchor for safety. This requires a consultation with engineering, who in this case recommended a 2-foot footing. So in order to have a retaining wall that is 3 feet high (from the ground up) the whole structure, which includes the footing, has to be 5 feet, requiring engineering and a permit. Moving forward, we are looking into ways that we can encourage client feedback throughout our projects to ensure that everyone is on the same page, understands what is happening, and knows what information is needed. I am disappointed that you did not get what you hoped for with this project and even more disappointed that we haven't been able to make it right. Would you please contact me to discuss this further?"
"[Member Name Removed], thank you for your remarks. It's my passion to help other's dreams and visions come true and I am glad that we could help make yours a reality."
