"Brandon came out on a Sunday and looked over the job site for details needed to present an estimate. Within a day I had the estimate with 3 options from low to high, all of which were reasonable the only difference being what equipment I wanted to install. Option #1 and #2 were lower end brands that were less expensive but since the difference in price betwee Option #1 and Option #3 was about $1400, I went to Option #3 which was their top tier brand, Carrier that clearly is an industry leader and trusted brand for longevity. I was installing a SINGLE ductless to cool a standard bedroom size room with a 18,000 BTU unit. The job took a total of about 5 hours since they were mounting the unit in a second floor bedroom and they needed to run the power/refrigerant lines two stories down to the compressor mounted on the wall. Everyone from Office Staff Jim to installers were absolutely wonderful to deal with. You can trust this company."

Within 8 days of my call my new water heater was installed. The contract was clearly set out, and the work was very professionally completed exactly as per the bid. "I am writing this review after a year because I wanted to test it out and provide an honest review. We replaced our AC unit with a new one with the help of NathanD. He was extremely professional and offered us the best price compared to all the other companies we considered. The installation process only took half a day, and they also installed a Google Nest for us. Additionally, they assisted in fixing our broken circuit board in the garage. Overall, the workmanship was excellent, and NathanD answered all of our questions. He even followed up with us after 2 months to check on our satisfaction. "I had a 30+ year old air conditioner system that went out during the hottest time of the year. We contacted multiple HVAC contractors who didn't even want to diagnose the system, they just looked at it and said it needs replacement and gave us some outrageous pricing for it. Then we called Cool Air For You. They sent out Vadim who actually took his time with our unit and gave his honest recommendation. He let us know our compressor is out but our unit is completely rusted. He said he could possibly repair the compressor but there would be no guarantees how long the repairs would last. He also let us know that if the unit goes out again there would be no saving it and replacing would be our only option. He also said that if we do replace our system we would also have to replace the refrigerant lines as ours were currently made from plastic...this is something no other contractor told us. Since we were dying in our home due to how hot it was, we decided to go with the repair for now but had him give us a quote for replacement. A month later our unit was still working good but we decided to go ahead with replacement. We called back Cool Air For You on a Monday and spoke with Claudia she answered the phone right away and was able to get the install scheduled for that Friday. The installers, Victor and Andre came right at 8am, they laid out drop clothes on my floor so they wouldn't get my floors dirty...they worked very hard and stood at my place till the job was complete. They left around 6pm. Overall excellent experience with all aspects of this company, from the office, techs and installers. Honest and fair priced companies are hard to come by these days. Highly recommend to all friends and family. I never leave reviews but this company exceeded all my expectations!"

"I had 4 estimates.  The first vendor said he would be unable to test for leaks and said he would install new system and gave us a one line estimate.

 The second vendor said he could fill with freeon for $800 with no warranty or put in new system for $15k with no itemization,  He only attached a pressure gauge to outside line and was going to charge my very elderly Mom $105.  When I called owner and said that no diagnosis was made and this is ludicrous, he dropped the charge.

 The third vendor spent well over an hour explaining why his company is great and then said the charge would be approximately $9,500.

the fourth vendor was Mick Sinclair and what a completely different experience. I first called and spoke to Nick, his son.  I told him I did not know what to do.  Although both Nick and his Dad were booked solid he said he would get back to me.  Mick called and scheduled an appointment. He measured the pressure and tried to fix the valve. He then actually removed the outer shell of the condensor and noted that the motor was not working at all.  He tried to fix the motor and added a booster to no avail.  He refused to charge anything for the diagnostic and attempted repair - nothing!

Note, that not one of the other three vendors checked the motor.

Mick then said he would email a quote which he did in a very timely manner. His wife sent the email and I spoke to her and she was as nice as Mick and their son, Nick.

Mick spent 1-1/2 days performing the complete installation, including sealing asbestos and many other things.

There are literally no words to explain the excellent service we received from Mick. He is also very kind.

"My water heater was leaking but glad that I contacted water heater only. I called at 10:00am and by 12pm they were here installing my new water heater. David from Water Heaters Only came in the afternoon of 6/12/18 and it took 2 hours to install to city and state code. He had all the parts and tools to change the water heater on the spot. Old heater was taken away and new heater installed by 2pm.. I would highly recommend Water Heaters Only. They were very professional and courteous."

"We received about six estimates over the course of a year before choosing to work with Darrow and Mirsky Heating & Air Conditioning. His bid was considerably less than the others, but we chose Mirsky over the bigger companies because he is a real person who treated us like real people and more than just a sale. Darrow took the time to explain he recommended the system he installed and why we didn't need all the bells and whistles other companies were trying to force on us. The work took a full week with permits, when we'd been quoted 2-3 days (by everyone), but we didn't mind. The rule of the triangle says fast, cheap or good -- pick two. Darrow didn't charge us a penny more than the original estimate, despite the many surprises our old setup and the inspectors presented. It's only been a week or two, but our new system is shipshape and working great, just in time for the first heatwave of summer!"

"The problem was resolved by cleaning a sensor for which they only charged me half hour labor. He also wrote me a letter when we filed with the licensing board. He suggested that I get a different type of connection from the gas. I wanted to give him some more business because he only charged me 50 bucks. So, I had him come out and do that. He showed up on time and didn?t jerk me around. He didn?t give me an inflated estimate and he did what he said he would do. I am pleased with him."
