Also, if it does stop functioning correctly you might have to have the unit removed and the new one reinstalled at your own expense, even if the unit is still under warranty. Alex recommended us to go with a Bradford White only gas water heater, which he got us a great deal on. Alex and his crew drained plus removed my old leaking Rheem water heater and installed the new one in no time. He also placed a drip pan and new flex hoses for the water in/out. They were very aware of cleaning up afterward, which most repair people do not. Alex is super nice, informative, personable, and trustworthy. He did not up-sell anything that was not necessary to have like most other plumbers will do. He quoted us a very-very fair price for the work done.
