"We were extremely pleased first with the promptness of the crew. The meticulous attention to details and consulting with us on any questions regarding what we could expect. The preparation , sanding, power  washing, covering of plants, etc. was exceptional. Many paint colors were tried before we found the one we wanted.We also had our deck and railings painted and again meticulous preparation and attention to all problems of wood, etc. The crew was as unobtrusive as possible, very polite and friendly.  Same experience with the interior crew.  Very accommodating to additional requests - always asking if I was pleased with result.  Added bonus of free touchups anywhere in house.  Will definitely use again and recommend.

"Jose and his crew did an excellent job and always conducted themselves like gentlemen. Jose was very patient and helpful in making the color choices for the paint and stain. I have container plants around the house. They took pictures of how they were arranged. They moved them away from the house before starting and put them back where they originally were when they were finished. They tidied up at the end of each day. They thoroughly cleaned up when the job was completed, leaving nothing behind. Jose and his crew were a pleasure to work with. We are very happy with their work."

"Exceeded my expectations.  This is the second time I have used J & B Painting.  The first time was back in February for the interior painting of two bathrooms and a bedroom.  They did an excellent job then, so we went ahead and had them do the exterior of the house and the gates/fences/awnings.  Cost for house was $3,800; fences/gates/awnings $1,200. 
We met with Bob Berger to go over all of the details and were scheduled to start on a Tuesday.  We then had to go out of the state for a family emergency on Monday night. We called Bob and told him to go ahead with the work, even though we would not be home (that's how much I trust him).  He called me regularly to let me know how things were going.
We returned two weeks later to find the house looking beautiful!  His team did an excellent job and took great care with all the trim and details.  I have a lot of delicate landscaping around the house and they were very careful not to damage any of it.  They even went so far as to remove items from a storage closet so they could paint the interior wall and move/replace a pile of bricks to access another wall, both in areas that no one really sees.
They returned to finish the doors and go over anything that might have been overlooked once we were back in town.  There was really nothing missed.
His workers are conscientious, polite, detail oriented and extremely neat (no paint/stain spilled on the ground, etc.)
They are now my go-to company for any painting job.  I highly recommend them without hesitation.

"John Holden and his son completed a large home painting project for us that including the home dwelling, extensive wood deck work, and other misc repairs for the painting job for us and we were very happy with the outcome. There were heavy downpours of rain in CA in early 2023 for almost 6 months! That caused some paint not to dry as expected, among other things. Although Their painting job held up really well! Anyway, their painting crew came back numerous times to fix any paint issues we raised, which happens on all jobs, naturally. Thatâ s hard to do for a painting crew and drives down profit for a company when they return to the job site. Regardless, their leadership and crew happily accommodated our requests and were focused on making sure we were satisfied. John Holden Inc was also very cost effective.
