I didn't receive any compensation, but I didn't expect to. They did clean that mess. They also asked to use my restroom and I found that to not be very professional."

"Josh painted the cabinets in my rather large kitchen as well as my front door and shutters. Josh was very prompt, courteous and professional. Not to mention his price was the absolute best. He arrived early, but waited until the scheduled time to knock on the door. He managed his time well and completed the job a day ahead of what was originally scheduled. It was originally my job to get the paint, which I forgot to do, but Josh had no problem going to the store and ordering the paint. He was very honest, leaving me the receipts and all the extra materials. Oh did I forget to mention parts of the base boards around the cabinets were cracked, he replaced them with no problem. I Will definitely be using his services again, in fact I already have another job lined up for him.

"Well, I wasted a lot of money on this one. I bought the $499 Angie's List deal in the hopes of having the exterior lighting improved in the front and back of my house.
First: After the work was completed, and the new transformer installed, I was horrified to see they had installed it directly in front of my house. The thing is HUGE and quite ugly!!  I called a few days later to have it moved. This time the manager came out (he was very nice) and wholeheartedly agreed it was not the right location and they moved it to the side of the house and out of sight. 
Second: I had one dark area which needed a light. They said it couldn't be done (unless we went underground) because it was on the other side of a door and the wires from the transformer would have to snake up and around the front door to get a light to that area. It honestly doesn't make sense to me because there are two OTHER lights right near that area which are also on the same timer so there's obviously electricity. Now, only half my house is lit.
Finally: All they basically did was change the transformer and replace the old lights with the same exact lights. I had a credit from a previous "deal" which I never used. They could have at least offered to upgrade the lights to LED's with the $49 credit. Didn't happen.
