Small jobs welcome

"I couldn t be happier with the work this company did for me. From the start Diana was responsive with returning my call, her estimate and all the subsequent work. She was extremely fair in her price compared to other companies who attempted to way overcharge for the work required. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for stucco work and especially for leaking windows."

"I hired them to install vinyl siding on the front and back of my house and to repair stucco around a window on the side. They did a very professional job and even fixed some stucco damage that wasn't in the contract. Matt seemed more knowledgable than the other bidders and their material provided a much better insulation rating."

"Jaime Enriquez did a fantastic job fixing a leak under a window on my house. He showed me where and how Del Webb screwed up when they built my house. He then proceeded to go the extra mile and then some to ensure it will never leak again. I would highly recommend California State Plastering for any stucco job, large or small. I paid Jaime $100 more than his bid. That’s how happy I was with his work! Cyril Kalbach"

"Alicia Hinzman is a saving grace. Amongst all the chaos at my house she came in sat me down gave me options and a company willing to finance the job. I would definitely recommend her and Dabella for any bathroom remodeling and just for some good wholesome conversation and exactly what I needed. Thanx Alicia hope you know you got a friend for life! Stucco questions, answered by experts

The cost of a repair depends on several factors, including the severity, complexity, and type of damage. Other key elements are the cost of any necessary replacement parts, hardware, materials, or required software updates. Labor rates and whether emergency service is needed will also influence the final price.

Solid, unpainted stucco shouldn’t suffer damage from dots of glue used for this task. If the stucco is dirty, you may notice slight marks when you heat and peel the glue away, but these aren’t permanent.

However, not all stucco walls are solid stucco. Some are “faux” stucco with a foam backing. This kind of stucco veneer is more susceptible to damage, including damage from hot glue. We don’t suggest attaching anything to these kinds of stucco walls, so make sure you check the stucco type before starting this project.

While your stucco repair professional can diagnose exactly what needs repair, it can be helpful to know what to look out for in the early stages to avoid significant reconstruction. Some common stucco repairs include:

  • Cracks

  • Holes

  • Ceiling repair

  • Chimney repair

  • Stucco removal

  • Discoloration

  • Caulking

  • Water damage

  • Foundation repair

Several clues suggest that your stucco is damaged or has underlying issues. Visual clues include discoloration, cracks, indentations, broken caulking, or visible mold. If you touch your stucco and feel any soft spots, that could also indicate a problem. If you notice any of these concerns, call in an inspector who can confirm your suspicions and help provide solutions.

The cost to replace the chimney crown or top is about $1,550 on average. The range varies widely depending on the size of the chimney, the materials used, accessibility, and the extent of the damage. If you suspect a problem with your chimney top, call a professional masonry contractor for an inspection.
