"Danny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. Matteo was extremely helpful, informative, honest, and gave us reasonable realistic prices, and did not try to inflate the prices or pressure us in anyway. We felt very comfortable with him immediately. We felt like he was a member of the family that we could just talk to and ask questions he was very personable. They did roofing, flooring, interior and exterior paint, windows, wood repair/replacememt, lighting, cabinets and lots of handyman type of things for me. The crew always showed up on time and worked hard all day. Everyone speaks fluent English and are very cordial and professional. Ryan, the owner is very knowledgeable and has quite the eye for design. A custom closet with drawers was built in a room that had none and you would never know it wasn't originally built with the house. Based on Nucave's professionalism, attention to detail and fair pricing I would highly recommend them for your home project."
