"Mike and his team at Ashler Fireplace and Chimney are exceptional! We purchased a direct vent gas fireplace to install in our mid century modern home. We purchased the unit but had trouble finding a contractor that could manage the detailed installation required -- additional supports in the attic, a steel frame and non combustable chase, then a custom modern looking hearth. We had a photo of what we wanted the finished install to look like.....and not much else. Mike and his team came in and managed the process, and us, like pros. Every detail was considered, they took great care to protect the house from debris and dust during construction and the final project looked exactly as we had hoped for. Mike's knowledge of the fireplace unit and construction considerations were above and beyond, we felt in great hands for the entire experience!"

"I had an odor of gas inside the house. It turned out to be a leaking valve located under the house. The tech arrived, very clean and professional. He showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He provided a written estimate and clearly explained what needed to be done. After approval, the issue was resolved in about 30 minutes. I would definitely consider this service again for future work."

"Christian was kind and so honest that he did not even charged us for the work done. Actually it was an easy job but it involved the gas line. I asked for his card as I would consider him for our project in the near future."

"I have been using Burris Brothers Plumbing, and heating for years. They have done everything from unclogged drains to fixing faucets to installing a tankless, hot water heater. They are Professional, highly skilled, reasonable and reliable. I refer them to anyone that asks for a great Plumber. I cannot recommend them enough."

"Alvin was very polite and nice, he showed up on time, diagnosed the problem with the gas lines and got right to work on it and finished it in two days at the price he had quoted."

"The team of this company which included Samuel, Agapito and Sergio did a wonderful job. The job was really hard. It included removing an old water heater from a small cabinet under the stairs and placing a new heater which was taller. I am very grateful for their job."

"They were polite, quick to respond, and, in general, did a good job. In fact, a city inspector informed me that they did a good job. :) I only had 3 issues: When installing a seismic gas shut off valve, the plumber broke an existing shutoff valve that must be repaired by the gas company, the plumber damaged the stucco on my home’s wall and didn’t offer to repair it, and their price for the job was high due to the last minute nature of our service need."

"Your company and crew did a wonderful job. They did a professional and efficient work. As a retired plumber I and my wife Stella were amazed at the quality of work. My wife and I know excellent work when we see it, We will certainly recommend your company to others Thank you again Steve and Stella Quintana"

"I thought this company did a good job. They put in the furnace and it seems to work. The problem is they never got a permit for the work. Then they never got the inspection from the city. Both the permit and the inspection were part of the contract. I do not know anything about furnaces or furnace installation. Without the inspection, I do not know if the furnace was installed correctly. Is it sending carbon monoxide into our house? I must have called them 100 times in the last year to get the permit and inspection. they simply refuse. I have sent a complaint to the contractor state license board, I do not recommend this contractor."
