Prompt, incredibly courteous and respectful.  I work from home, and I could hardly tell he was here he worked so quietly.  And the windows are so clean I keep forgetting they're closed.  I appreciated the extra care he took with our special windows - in an incredibly hard to reach spot, small little panes, original glass from the 1920's.  He took so much care that it was as if it was his own house!

"What a terrific company! The owner, Cindy responded immediately to my request for services. She did a free walk through and gave me her price. I knew immediately that #1 Cleaning was the choice for me. My 3-bedroom rental was not an easy place to clean. It was old and dusty. We had lived there for 23 years so you can imagine. "This is a well-run company that extensively trains its employees. When a house cleaner I called quoted $275 for a one-hour clean of my 1200 ft sq condo, I called Home Advisor. Crystal charges $47/hr per person. To schedule me they had to alter their schedule, and I had to pay an extra hour's time for the travel. Three people showed on time, they were courteous and thorough, and the cost was $150 (excluding the travel fee). My wife likes the wood floor to be cleaned with a vinegar/water solution. This is how Crystal normally does this. I think the owner is very detail oriented: there's a form that has to be signed before work starts, and I was asked about 15 questions over the phone about my condo and its contents. After we had arranged the time, they called me to TELL me that they had to come an hour earlier due to a cancellation. I was sick and had scheduled a doctor's appointment and I told them I might not be able to make it back at the new time. The receptionist told me that she would have to charge a cancellation fee if I couldn't keep the appointment at the earlier time-a time to which I had never agreed. I explained to her that THEY, not I, had changed the time and that, if I couldn't make it in time, there would be no "cancellation fee" paid by me. She hummed and hawed and said the standard, "I just work here." As it turned out, I felt better and cancelled the doctor's appointment. I don't know if they actually would have charged this fee; of course, it would have been totally inappropriate it they had.(That's why only 4 stars for "customer service") If the service hadn't been perfect, after this runaround, I would have quickly placed Crystal in the round file. The workers were great, and they did a most thorough and professional job. Maybe management is a bit over the top, but they are not the ones who do the cleaning. I am using them again."

"The first time I used them. They were acceptable but as time went on the quality of work declined. I called the office a couple of times and asked about things they should or should not be doing. I was told they were professionally trained and should be doing things they were not. The next time they came (it is not always the same people) I questioned them about my base boards . The worker said "We don't do baseboards." I said "I called your office and they said that was one of the services I paid for. When I relayed this message to the worker she said, "Oh they don't know what we do. Later after letting them go I hired a woman that used to for work for them. She said they would go in a house, do the things that were obviously in need of cleaning and skipped the rest."
