"The project went very well. Absolute Pools communicated all steps along the way and explained what was happening and results we would get once completed. They kept the yard clean, showed up on time every day, and found ways to help us cut our costs, and brought in supplies at the right times to be efficient. Absolute Pool was very organized so the whole pool revamping took 20-30 days to complete. I would definitely recommend them for your project, or at least allow them to bid the project."

"Angel's Pools are fantastic! The entire crew that work for Angel are experts in their area and are always willing to make the customer completely happy. Starting with the design aspect, through all the construction and down to the finishing details, everything was done exactly as we asked. Edward came over to our property and listened to my wife's very specific ideas. He came back quickly with a rendering that exactly matched our requests, including engineering a design to have the pool come up to our property line wall. Angel then spent hours at city hall obtaining the appropriate permits. All we had to provide was signatures when necessary. The construction of our inground pool was completed in just 2 months and passed every inspection the first time. Our back yard is a small space with restricted access, so our pool had to be dug by hand. It took them just 2 days! The crew stayed late when necessary, worked weekends if needed and returned to make any changes that we requested. Their plumber, Genaro, installed the best possible equipment and had everything up and running perfectly as soon as there was water in the pool. The two foremen who worked on our pool, Luis and Ramon, are two of the finest craftsmen we have seen. Everyone who sees our pool is amazed with the quality of the work. We had several companies provide estimates for our pool. Angel's Pools was one of the most competitive prices and by far the shortest time line. The estimated price hardly changed during the project and they delivered on their time frame. The payment schedule was fair and Julie in the office was always very knowledgeable and helpful. And, perhaps most importantly, whenever we had a question or an issue, Angel and Edward always returned our calls promptly and provided a quick resolution throughout the entire project. We couldn't have been happier with their work and their customer service. If you are looking to install a swimming pool or spa and have high standards for quality, these are your guys! "The crew was a bit late to get started, but did a good job once they arrived. They carried my stuff up to the 3rd floor since the elevator was very small.
Had some trouble putting the bed back together but overall a fine job. Some damage to my items, but don't know where along the line that happened. It could have happened in transit.

"Rick and Lucia were great from start to finish. Rick is more than a contractor, he is a designer and on top of that, he really believes in reusing materials. We saw that in two ways. First, during the demo, everything was removed very carefully so that he could reuse as much of the material as possible. The deck didn't look demolished, it looked carefully taken apart. Rick also used reclaimed materials in our yard wherever possible. We are renovation novices and Rick was very thoughtful every step of the way. His team was on time every morning and he showed up most days to walk us through the project before we left for work each day. He always answered his phone (every single time I called) to answer questions or explain the next steps. His workers were respectful and friendly, and they cleaned up every day. We love the finished product. We've hosted multiple parties and showers since Azteca 111 finished and we have loved showing off the new yard. Beyond just the finished product, two stories sum up why we appreciated working with Rick. 1) On the final day of construction, we weren't 100% happy with our perogla design. Rick came right over and gave us a few different options to change it up. He used leftover materials and modified the design that day and still finished on time and within the budget. 2) One Sunday afternoon, after all the work was done and the last check had been cashed, our mechnical gate opened when our car was blocking it and we could not get it to close. I called Rick and he had his subs who installed the gate at our house within an hour to fix it. That is great service."

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""

Consuegra Tub Refinish has over 10 years of experience refinishing porcelain bathtubs, fiberglass tub, kitchen and bath counter tops, sinks, shower pans and ceramic tile countertops and shower walls. Additionally, we do major fiberglass and porcelain repairs on weak tub bottoms and shower floors.\n\nBathtub refinishing also known as bathtub resurfacing, bathtub reglazing or bathtub re-enameling is the process of refreshing the surface of a worn, damaged bathtub to a like-new condition. This process typically involves repairing any damaged areas. Chips or cracks are repaired using Bondo or another type of polyester putty. After repairs are made the surface is prepped with an acid etching and ready to add the primer and porcelain paint. Once dried for 48 hours is ready to use.

"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"When I called, I asked if they did hot tub repairs.   We've got a spa in our pool that was not working properly.  Apparently it needed a new main drain installed, so I asked if that was something they did.   He was great on the phone and showed up a few days later as promised to give a bid.  When he got here, he said that it wasn't something they did but could refer someone.  Then he said they could try something to unclog the drain.  I said great.   But then they never showed up or called back.    Another week wasted waiting for someone, and I've got to got through this whole process again trying to find someone to fix this.  Frustrating.

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.
