Unusual in that Penny did not have access to interior of the unit she had to appraise. She was very thorough in her research of the complex, and inspected a similar unit that was on the market, in addition to reviewing prior sales records and condition of the unit she appraised. Her comps were very good and it was clear that she'd done her due diligence to discern the appropriate sales, given the three different areas of buildout in the complex. Thank goodness for Scott because I discovered the house had structural issues and decided to cancel on buying the house. I had a general inspector come out before Scott and he couldn’t find issues with the structure and was there for 3.5 hrs. Scott was there for 10-15 minutes and found a major problem.
