"Bill and his team did a FANTASTIC job painting our new home that was in need of some bright new paint.  The walls were in pretty awful shape with lots of dings, drywall issues, some walls needing wall paper removal not to mention the crown molding either needing to be replaced or smoothed out.  Bill came for an estimate right away when I contacted him (accommodating after work hours) and spent a lot of time with me discussing how he'd do the job and explaining different aspects of painting to me. I had a lot of questions and he was patient and so informative.  He also happily came back out to the house to answer follow up questions before he started the job.
He arrived with his crew on time right when he said he'd start the job and they finished on time in 4 days. I couldn't believe the amount of prep work they did to get the walls in good shape to paint and in the end, it looks amazing. Everyone compliments me on what a great job they did and how good the house looks now- it's amazing what paint can do!
Bill is so knowledgeable and is always happy to answer your questions.   He also will let you proceed as you planned without complaint (I really wanted to use BM colors vs. color matching to Behr paint) and go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the job in the end.  He even spaced out painting the bedrooms so I'd have somewhere to sleep each night!
The tape job they did to make sure none of our stuff was damaged was impressive and they cleaned up so well. His crew is friendly, professional, and I had no problem letting them come into the house each day while we were at work to do the job.
We will have them back to do some other paints jobs we have planned, but we so happy we found Bill and his team!

"I called several painting companies to get estimates. I appreciated Walt getting back to me. Not everyone returned my call. Walt offered a very good price and was very helpful when it came to picking out paint colors. He replaced some rotting wood, removed dated exterior wood features, and painted the house exterior and attached pergola. Walt was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. "I am overall unhappy with the final job. Lots of touch up left for me. I just am Not a fan of Spray jobs. I have lots of leaves painted that when touched reveal unpainted surface. My T-1-11 groves all need to be hit with a brush... I have to repaint lots of nail holes inside and out. Lots of scrubing the wood floors and cabinets to remove overspray. I asked and showed the primer and paint to them for the bid but the primer step was skipped and that made the paint not go as far or cover as well. Too late after. The customer should be listened to. Not told the paint has primer."

"During the process of removing the acoustic ceiling they took down all the ceiling fixtures. When they put them back they were in the wrong place. A ceiling fan was not reinstalled at all and a bathroom fixture put in its place with no fixture now in the bathroom. this should have been a clue that something was wrong. I contacted the provider but failed to get a call back. Now I have to hire an electrician to complete the job correctly.

Juan wasn’t the cheapest choice, but he certainly was worth the money!"

"Nathan was assigned to be the project manager and from our first meeting we knew he'd do an awesome job making sure our home remodel went smoothly. During our initial consultation he was super informative and honest about the process. He gave us a detailed shopping list right away of all of the things (materials, appliances, etc.) we'd need to purchase so that we could get things as soon as possible to keep the project moving in a timely manner. At first we'd only decided to remove a wall and remodel the kitchen, thinking we'd do the bathrooms at a later date, but after talking through it we learned they'd be able to do the bathrooms at the same time as the kitchen and in the long run I'm so glad they were able to do this. (We hadn't yet moved into the house and we got most of the remodeling out of the way before we moved.) Nathan was always available when we had questions and provided honest feedback on decisions we were making. He also was regularly updating us on project timelines and gave detailed accounts of what would happen and when so that we knew what to expect and when to expect it by. I honestly don't know how we would have gotten through the whole process without him. 
From the foreman to the tile guy to the guys who were in our home on a daily basis, every one of them was professional and friendly. They answered all of my questions, communicated effectively with us to make sure we were all on the same page before moving forward and went extra mile to make sure things were done in a way that made it easy for our family to move in to the home mid-construction. Everyone who worked in the house was highly skilled and knowledgeable and were able to provide us with answers and feedback throughout the process. I really can't say enough about how hard everyone worked to make everything come together, sometimes working long hours to make sure things were ready for inspection or when there were a couple of unforeseen circumstances, doing their best to keep things moving. 
In the beginning we weren't even sure about hiring a contractor to do the remodeling to our first home, thinking it would be too overwhelming to do all at once. Looking back, we're so glad we went with Goodfellas and honestly couldn't be more in love with how everything turned out. High quality work, great customer service, from top to bottom a solid experience.

"Painters were Hispanic with only the foreman speaking English.  They were on time, covered the floor and furniture well, did a good job on the painting but so-so job on the seam tape (I complained that the tape looked irregular and they said it was because the wall underneath was rough-they should have sanded it if that was the case); they missed a wallpapered wall in the kitchen (next to the double oven - a small area) and had to return to finish the work. they did a poor job on sanding rough spots on the walls and in most cases left the wall pretty much as it was - leaving rough looking places that we will have to sand and repaint ourselves later.  They (the owner and the foreman) were asked many times to give me a price first, on a repair job outside the work estimate (two feet long or so) in the bathroom - it needed sanding and new paint - they never once gave me a price but insisted they do the work saying "no problem - no problem - we'll do the work"; when the job was completed, the owner called and wanted two hours worth of additional payment which I refused to pay; I was left with a bad overall feeling about this company due to them not getting back to me on a price for the small additional work before they did the work but tried to collect after the fact - after the work was done; I had to almost push them out of the house on the third day due to a very important business meeting commitment that I could not be late for - the job was supposed to be 2 1/2 days and it took 3 days (they wisely added a third person on the third day); overall, the work was okay except that they should have sanded the walls and repair more than they did; I would try another company in the future."
