I made an appointment for 3 days from then. he made it very easy to contact him and ask additional questions. After he completed my window cleaning, I was ready to pay him. He asked if we could walk around the house and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. many of the windows still had water droplets on them, so I sked if they would dry without any water spots. He said that yes, they would dry with no residue or spot from the filtration system they use that completely purifies the water. I said OK, and was ready to leave it at that. Then Mehr offered to stay there until all the water dried, and I could see that there were no spots or streaks. He stayed an extra 45 minutes, and sure enough, the windows were spotless. I was amazed by his customer service and commitment to his work. Mehr answered the phone, sent me a quote, made my appointment, and did all the work! AWESOME!"

They have not yet contacted me regarding the work to be done. As I am preparing to go on a vacation and will not return until the middle of next week, I'm in no hurry. If I haven't heard from them by the end of next week (May 29), I will contact them the following week.

I had paid the $1,000 advance by Visa through Angie's List, since Best Exteriors only accepts Pay Pal. Angie's sent them a check, but Best Exteriors said they didn't know what it was for, so it took two months to get an agreement signed. It seems to me that they could have called Angie's to ask what it was for. If I received a check for that much and didn't know why, I'd be on the phone right away to find out. I paid it in March. The job was done in July.

The crew of two men showed up on time and did a great job installing the windows. The problems started after the windows were in. The re-installed my two window air conditioners, but left large gaps around them where wind and water could get in.

 They fixed one of them before they left, but I had to call the office to get the other one done. It was fixed a week later, but then Alex called me and said it was not part of their job to put the A/C back in, and the customer should make the arrangements for that. Well, alright, but he didn't tell me that when he came out to make the arrangements for the work to be done. It would have been a deal breaker for me, as I am elderly and not strong enough to do that. He said they had "gone above and beyond" by putting the A/C back in for me, but I don't think it's too much to expect them to put things back as they were when they started the job. Certainly they should have told me if it wasn't part of the agreement.

"Very professional and on time.  Scheduling was easy.  LIked working with the company.  But the estimate came through and seemed somewhat very high.
I have one estimate to do the entire house in James Hardie siding for 36K + permit costs.  The entire house is 2800 Square feet of siding (approx) if I wanted to replace the cedar siding plus the existing siding around the entire house.
However the estimate came in for just replacing the cedar shingles which is approximately 1120 square feet.
Cost was 31865 for the siding and replacement of the trim on the windows and doors was an additional 2,250.  Seemed a bit high.  I know its storm season, el nino and is probably very busy, but seems a bit high.  Thats 28.45 per square foot.
