Hello! we are Vaughn and Mary Byrd, owners of Heaven's Best Carpet Cleaning of Southern Arizona. While our business is new, I bring over 20 years of professional carpet cleaning experience to every job. After years in the industry, my family and I decided it was time to build a company centered on honest service, exceptional results, and treating every customer like a neighbor.\n\nWe're proud to be a locally owned and family-operated business. Every cleaning is performed by me and, in many cases, my young adult son. When you schedule with us, you'll always know who's coming to your home—no subcontractors, no revolving crews, just a family that takes pride in delivering quality work.\n\nWe proudly serve homeowners throughout Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, and surrounding Southern Arizona communities. We're fully licensed and insured, giving you peace of mind every step of the way.\n

"I originally hired Carpet Police to clean the carpets in my house. They were the first to respond when I got on Angie's List. Somehow, Carpet Police got usurped by another company called Arizona Island. Arizona Island did a terrible job and I called Carpet Police, again, to please come and repair the bad carpet cleaning that was done. Carpet Police did as good a job as I could possible expect to fix what went wrong. Alfonso was efficient, friendly, wore his mask when he was inside and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"Provider arrived with assistant promptly (actually a little in advance of scheduled time); reviewed rooms to be cleaned & what I wanted to done.  Asked if I had any spots or areas that needed special attention.  Used high power professional vacuum to clean all areas before starting to clean.  Answered all my questions completely and politely.  Finished the job in about 1 1/2 hours.  Carpet looked like new -- he went over all rooms to make sure I was satisfied and that no spots or problem areas remained.  Gave me reasonable estimate of how long the carpet would be damp (6 - 8 hours) and provided me with shoe covers for walking around.  Took the special offer coupon from Angie's list that I had printed out and provided a professional receipt, a refrigerator magnet -- and a cute little foam toy of a Carpet Police serviceman!
This was a very professional provider with which I was completely satisfied.  I will definitely use them and recommend them again.  Thanks, Angie's List!

"I recently hired K&R Property Preservation to remove some debris from my home. Karen was punctual, friendly and got right to work. She quickly loaded the debris. I am a licensed broker in Tucson and I would gladly refer her to other agents and clients. I plan to use her company for my personal home projects. Great Job!"

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

Custom curtains or drapes are an investment, often costing hundreds of dollars. Just like rugs or fabric furniture, cleaning helps maintain its original quality and keeps it lasting for years to come. Skipping regular drapery cleaning can result in discoloration, odors, mold or mildew, and even allergens from dust buildup.

Yes, using appropriate techniques and solutions for material-specific care.

You’ve stored your coats away all summer long, but now that the temperatures drop, you notice they smell weird as you pull them from storage. What’s the deal? If your clothes smell weird after you stored them, they may have been in a moist, dark environment for several weeks or months. This environment is ideal for mildew growth, which can make clothes smell musty.

Costs depend on fabric type, drape size, cleaning method, and whether additional services like pressing or deodorizing are included.
