"***STAY AWAY*** They should remove the word "Solutions" from their name. That is far from what they provide. I started the process with Arizona Foundation "solutions" back in May of 2021 to fix a retaining wall/foundation. After meeting with the sales person they did let me know that they can proceed with engineering the "solution". After about 30 days I met with the sales person again so he could present the "solution" and take a deposit. I agreed to the option they offered and they stated I would be on the calendar to be completed before December 2021. During the permitting process there were items that came up that were needed from me directly by the county. These items were provided. After these items were provided I had not been contacted by anyone at the company to schedule the repair. At at the same time I was told by the county that Arizona Foundation "Solutions" was needing more engineering from me to complete the job. Obviously this was concerning as I should have heard about this directly from the company I was spending ten's of thousands of dollars with. However it was crickets. After reaching out to the sales person by call, text, email with no response before the holidays, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until after the holidays and tried again with no avail. I then was put in contact with the "Area Sales Manager" whom after a week reviewed everything and let me now that the project they had in their hands for 7-8 months now was unfortunately out of scope for their company to complete and said they would be refunding me my deposit. I questioned how was this job reviewed and drawn out by an engineer and yet its somehow not able to be completed by them? Another week went by and the same manager contacting me and let me know that the owner reviewed and said they would solve this and get the job completed. I mistrustfully agreed for them to continue. After waiting another 2 weeks with no communication, I reached back out only to find out they were wrong and actually could not come up with a "solution" and would be refunding me my deposit (again). I waited another 2 weeks for my check to come in the mail and then called again to now find out they sent the check to a wrong address and would need to cancel that check and send out another. I asked for them overnight the check for my inconvenience and the refused to as this was an "additional cost that had to be approved". Throughout the most recent 2 months I tried to get the owners (Bob Brown) attention by phone/email to discuss my entire situation and was told he was in "meetings" 10/10 times I called. I was FINALLY able to get him to call back once I called every hour on the hour same day. As I expressed to the owner, the incompetency and ignorance starts at the top at his company. Not only was the communication poor at best during my dealings, the fact that an apologize nor any remorse was expressed on how my customer service experience was. A few key items to any contracting/construction work is setting expectations, communication, and follow through. NONE of which was provided by Arizona Foundation "Solutions". This type of work is extremely costly and any company completing it should be handling their customers with at least some respect while they spend a price of a new car or part of a college tuition on."

Custom Plumbing of Arizona better known as the Drain Whisperers, the home of the 69.00 drain. No trip charge, No extra charges for nights and weekends Apples to apples price guarantee. If you’re looking for a Plumbing company that isn't looking to make you laugh at their commercials then make you cry when you get the bill, Call 602-Too-Cool. That’s 602-866-2665

"Unfortunately, I can only give Custom Plumbing of Arizona 1 star. That star is for the friendly people they employ. The first technician to come to our house was Jacob (big guy), he was very friendly and seemed to know what he was talking about. My husband was very impressed and made an appointment to have our kitchen and bathroom faucets installed, we were given a quote of about $1008 to install 2 faucets, but my husband understood that Jacob was going to install new valves as well as the faucets. Before the appointment my husband ended up installing the bathroom faucets leaving only the kitchen faucet to be installed. I called the office to let them know that we would not be fulfilling the original quote, they said that was fine. The day of the appointment Jacob was not the technician to show up, Tony was the technician. I explained to Tony that my husband had already installed the bathroom faucets so he only needed to install the kitchen faucet, which would bring our install down to $377. After Tony had installed the faucet, he said that he was going to check the water pressure, something that had been done a week prior, as we had a whole house water system installed and they had checked the pressure and it was fine. Tony told me that we needed a new regulator and that it would cost $700, since I don’t know anything about regulators or plumbing I said okay. Later that evening I was washing some dishes and when I let the water out and turned on my disposal all the water came out onto our floor. My husband called Custom Plumbing right away and they sent someone out. Seems Tony didn’t connect everything completely under the sink. Now we have some water damage under our sink, not bad, but there are bubbles. The men that came out that night wanted our home owners insurance information to file a claim to repair the damage. Not sure why our insurance should have to pay for damage caused by the company’s technician, we did not give them the information. The next day I noticed that the cold water was hot and the hot water was cold, so I had to call them again and they sent someone else out. They were going to send Tony, but I said no, so they sent Rambo. Rambo corrected the cold and hot water and when I asked him about the price of the regulator that had been installed he said he would have charged us $135. Which got me thinking that maybe Tony charged us that much because our original quote was for $1008 and that is about what I ended up paying when it should have only been $377 for the kitchen faucet. Then Rambo proceed to check the pressure (without a pressure gauge) and told me it was too high, so he lowered it. Well, we ended up having hardly any water pressure in the house. When the Kinetico rep came to check the equipment that had been installed a few weeks before he also checked the pressure (with a pressure gauge) and it was 30, he increased it to 60 and now we have water pressure in the house. He also told me that they would have charged $199 for the regulator. All in all we had a terrible experience with Custom Plumbing and nobody has ever called to ask about the water damage. I personally think they owe us something."

"Bait and switch. I obtained multiple quotes for my foundation. Dalinghaus Construction quoted me 19 piers to stabilize my home. I questioned why their competitors were quoting me over 30 piers; and they reassured me I was being over quoted by their competitors. Long story short, I went with Dalinghaus. During construction, a rep (David F) came by to drop off some tools and found that 19 piers would not be enough. They said I needed 14 more piers (totaling 33– same as their competitors). I’m stuck because I cannot leave my home half stabilized. No other reputable company would complete the job if another company started it. I was obligated to move forward with Dalinghaus. No one called to apologize for the misstep. They invoiced me and could care less how much this would affect my family. They proceeded to install14 more piers but left 14 large holes— they said backfilling was not part of the scope of work, while the original 19 were backfilled. Insanely strange why they think I wanted 14 large holes at my home. So this is where they gave me a “discount.” They backfilled the holes for free. Free? It should be included in the work. All in all, why do I have to pay for a mistake of this magnitude? I’ve tried to work it out with them peacefully but they have not provided me anything that would make this right. Only excuses why they should not compensate me. They have no integrity. They only care about their reputation at this point (they want my bbb review taken down). I would like to be compensated for the 14 additional piers that were missed from the original quote. 14 additional piers is a completely new job, not a “new work order.” They are the professional and should have done a more thorough assessment to provide me an accurate quote. Their competitors seemed to have done so but I was sadly duped by Dalinghaus. They baited me in and switched the price after the work started. $38k is a lot to lose. I have 2 small children and a home that needs to be completed. Ps. I’ve been waiting over 2 months for a resolution."

"My experience with Kinetico has been outstanding. Mike the installer was excellent, including arriving within the time window I had been given. He listened to my concerns about placement of the unit, answered all my questions, and gave me instructions on operation. Not that there is much for me to do! Another contractor doing work here on a separate project noticed how well the copper pipe had been installed. All the staff who dealt with the project were personable and knowledgeable and responded in a timely way to my requests and questions. Thank you to all."

"Plumber Abraham Horta is an absolute God send. My husband set all this up (an estimate) but had to go to work unexpectedly. He gave me specific instructions on how he wanted it done (solder only, ball valve for a whole house shut off, I wrote it down as to not mess up). Needless to say all of it went over my head however I explained to Abraham everything my husband wanted. Abraham made it so easy and even asked if we wanted some old irrigation plumbing taken out that was very old. I of course asked my husband and my husband all terrified of the cost for the extra work asked how much. Abraham did it for free and even gave us a discount to lower the total cost which my husband could not believe until the credit card payment went thru. After everything was taken care of Abraham even quickly threw on a fresh coat out paint on the copper pipes to match the rest because we recently had our house painted and had some laying around. This is 5-star service at its best. My husband could not be happier now the problem is my husband trying plumbing projects with that valve now installed. I have a feeling I will be calling Abraham soon when my husband gets over his head but that is between us! Thank you Bumble Bee Plumbing and Angi for all the help!"

Foundation drain installation services FAQs

Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The cost to finish a basement is $18,400 for the average homeowner. However, this cost could be as little as $2,800 or as much as $34,500, depending on the basement size and the materials needed. If your basement is already outfitted with electrical and plumbing, expect the cost to fall on the lower end.

For example, the drywall cost for this project averages around $1,750, but other features, like hiring a plumber, cost between $45 and $200 per hour.

The cost to remodel a basement is between $12,100 and $33,400 for the average homeowner. The price you pay can be as little as $3,500 or as much as $50,200, depending on the size and condition of your basement and the type of remodel you're doing.

If you're doing a simple project like adding a home office to your basement, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $3,000. However, if you're adding a bathroom, which is an extensive project, you can expect to pay between $6,600 to $16,500.

Foundation repairs cost about $5,000, on average. Typically, prices range from $2,200 to $7,800, depending on the type and extent of repairs needed. Cost factors include foundation type, home size, soil stability, accessibility, and the ultimate cause of the problem and what methods and materials are required to fix it.

The cost of basement waterproofing is $4,950 for the average homeowner. However, you could end up paying between $600 and $14,000, depending on factors like basement size, waterproofing method, and the region you live in.

If you live in an area with heavy rainfall, you might be paying more for waterproofing than if you lived somewhere drier since waterproofing contractors would be in high demand. Likewise, a 500-foot basement costs between $2,500 and $5,000 to waterproof, but that price rises significantly for a larger basement.
