"Tamara with Regal is the most friendly, understanding, professional and responsive contracting project manager/designer I've ever worked with. Trust me I've worked with a few different companies in the valley on numerous projects. Tamara was able to understand what was needed and was quick to come up with innovative design decisions to ensure the project was the most current without breaking budgetary constraints. Justin at regal, the contractor who demoed quickly and reconstructed the shower meticulously was the best contractor I've had in my house, hands down! He ensured that every detail was thought through and perfectly crafted together. The final product has zero flaws due to the thoughtfulness and preparedness Regal, Tamara, and Justin had throughout the planning and construction. Couldn't have asked for a better team to work on my house!"

"They were going to charge for part of the estimate and so I decided not to use them because of that. The estimate was pretty high. I had the job done and it was probably almost half the price they were going to charge but they were local contractors through a realtor company that I deal with. The sounded like they knew what they were doing, it sounded like they would have done the job pretty nicely but the were rather high plus hey were going to charge for giving me a proper estimate. They couldn't give me a proper estimate because I wouldn't pay the fee for the estimate. It was about 8 to $900."

"I can't speak highly enough of MagCor. George is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. He was quick to respond, punctual, personable, explained options and pricing very clearly, and more than delivered the final product. George also noticed some effervescence on the stone veneer wall and repaired and sealed it.  i was out of the country when the work was completed. George sent me email updates and followed up with me when I returned to make sure the job was completed to my satisfaction.  I couldn't have been more pleased.

I highly recommend MagCor!! You will not be disappointed. "

"I was extremely pleased with Trades Unlimited overall.  They showed up on time and finished on time.  Their price included replacement of wood on the roof and was a little higher than other companies but I wanted the whole roof, foam and shingles, to be under the warranty with one company.  I could not be more pleased with the new roof.  The company has been in business, licensed and insured, and shows no complaints with the Registrar of Contractors.  I highly recommend them.  They may cost a bit more, but they are worth it!

"They did a great job and they didn't make any sort of mess. They were very professional, they showed up on time and did the work. They did an excellent job overall. Another contractor accidentally put a hole in the ceiling afterwards, and they came out and fixed it anyway without charging me anything extra."

"t's rare when you find someone who actually cares about the job that they do. Eric is one of those rare contractors that cares about every detail of the job and customer satisfaction before, during, and after the job. We're thrilled the results!"

"William and team did a great job. Smooth skim coat wasn't something that many contractors would even bid on. The results were fantastic. The finish on the walls was paint-ready and super smooth. With multiple coats in addition to the ceiling work it was done in about a day and a half. Pretty impressive for two guys. They were professional and contentions of the space and kept things as neat as can be for such a messy job. Very little sanding was needed so the dust was minimal. I plan to have them back for more work."

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.

Most Cape Cod houses are two stories tall at the peak, although they’re considered one-and-a-half stories tall because the steep roof pitch cuts off a portion of the living space on the second story. Unless you raise the roof on your Cape Cod house to add a dormer, the interior rooms upstairs will lose some usable living space to the sloped ceilings.

A-frame homes are on the smaller side. While there’s no set square footage amount it has to be, it will usually come in around 1,000 square feet or smaller.

When hanging a door frame, it’s recommended that you use screws, not nails. Screws are more secure, easier to tighten, and easier to remove if you need to adjust the frame. On average, the cost to replace a door frame is about $400, but you can save on labor costs if you’re confident in your ability to DIY the project.

Costs depend on furniture type, size, complexity, and whether additional modifications are needed.
