"The service providers/painters arrived on time. They did the exterior of our home and the fence. Extra touch was removing slats in wrought iron gate, painting to match trim and replacing. The prep work was extensive and resulted in an exceptional paint result. They used Dunn-Edwards paint as I requested and left remaining paint for me. The job was quoted at one and a half days and was completed in one long day. The price was very reasonable. The property was cleaned up well and they left premises as found. I will definitely recommend this company and would use them again."

"Great service! Very professional. Everything was great.
Just an observation: Being a first time customer, I asked cleaners to have someone call me with a quote to continue monthly. I never heard back from them to get feedback or see if I wanted to continue. I was a bit surprised there was no follow up for my business.

"I am so glad that we found Alex’s painting. Our project turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier with our cabinets. Alex took his time, was very considerate of our home/cleanup during the process and we were thrilled with their excellent communication. I found their pricing to be reasonable and affordable and won’t hesitate to use their services in the future. I give them an A+!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.
