"They went right to work removing the tree, roots, and quickly removed the debris. They also repaired the existing drip irrigation line that was damaged by the tree roots. We are very satisfied with the professionalism, care, and work performed. We have already recommended them to a family member."

"It all looked beautiful! Great job on trimming the queen palms to look smooth, the mini palms also looked great, and they trimmed up the rest of the bushes in our yard as a free yard cleanup. Their price for all of the above was VERY reasonable compared to the other tree removal and trimming jobs we have paid over the last three decades of owning various other homes in Calif and here. They also did a massive trimming back of two huge palo verde trees in the backyard of our smaller house last year for a very reasonable price and great work. This is the only company I will use for tree trimming!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead removal services typically cost between $1,000 and $5,000, depending on the extent of lead presence, the property size, and the complexity of the abatement process.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.

No. Standard homeowners insurance does not cover any kind of lead remediation, focusing instead on sudden, unpreventable events like fires and theft. Many insurance companies will specifically exclude lead paint removal, since it tends to be an expensive and unavoidable project. The exception is if the lead surface is damaged during a covered event (like a flood) and homeowners insurance pays its replacement.

You should ask a few questions to ensure that your potential lead removal professional is experienced and qualified to handle lead-paint abatement safely, legally, and properly.

  • What are your qualifications and experience removing lead-based paint?

  • Are you licensed and certified to remove lead-based paint?

  • How do you test for lead paint?

  • What methods do you use for lead-based paint abatement?

  • What do you plan to do with the hazardous material when you remove it from the home?

  • Do you do replacement and painting work or removal only?

The best disposal method for hazardous waste is recycling or donation, if possible. That way, the world can reduce its consumption of raw materials and the volume at which materials have to be treated and disposed of. If recycling or donation is not an option, most waste can be disposed of through landfills or incinerators, but their collection and treatment are separate from regular day-to-day waste disposal.
