"Very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Did things the previous yard man didnâ t. Trimmed all my plants, cleaned up debris, took care of weeds leaving everything looking great! Jose found and fixed major leaks in my watering system. He reset my timer and made sure everything was working properly."

"Chris worked hard for us removing branches and debris from 2 40-year old orange trees. Then he replaced our dead (very old) sprinkler timer/control center in very short order and showed us how to program it. His price for this work was very reasonable, and Chris is also quite personable with a good sense of humor"

Customers say: Quick response

"Amazing work! Works quickly and efficiently. Great prices. I also had dead trees and bushes in the front yard and Jose was able to salvage them. Now, they’re blooming with leaves. 100% would recommend his work. He also was able to take bulk trash to the dump for me. Wonderful and hard working person!"

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead removal can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the work needed, particularly if the lead is widespread and in hard-to-reach areas.

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

You can paint over lead paint, or “encapsulate” it with a special paint that includes an ingredient called an encapsulant. The EPA approves encapsulation as a lead paint removal method as long as the paint remains undisturbed. Standard types of paint without an “encapsulant” from the big box stores or hardware stores do not meet EPA standards for remediation of lead-based paint.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.
