"My house was built in the early 1980's and had single pane windows with no real insulation. Even in the winter when the sun light hit the living room window and my office window, the house would warm up and feel stuffy. In the evenings, the office would feel like a sauna even in winter. I noticed this more while working from home during the Pandemic. The double pane windows with the Argon gas were the windows that were chosen, as well as a new sliding door with a built-in doggy door. As a result, when the installers came and installed them, it was an immediate difference in all the rooms, especially in the office. It used to hover around 83 degrees in the evenings with blinds and black out curtains. Now with just the blinds the temperature stays in the low to mid 70s consistently. The AC doesn't turn on constantly anymore. The installers were very nice and cleaned any mess they left behind. They also made sure to put back everything including the blinds. Overall, I'm thrilled to see the differences with their product, and I look forward to seeing how they hold up in the 110+ degree temperatures in the Metro."
