I charge by the square foot, not by the hour, I make sure the job is done in a timely manner (weather permitting). I have been painting houses for 10+ years and I take extreme pride in my work. "He was the most expensive of the 3 quotes I got but he seemed to be more professional when we met. The existing exterior surface was very dark brown and we went back with very dark brown paint so it is pretty easy to miss a spot but not notice until it starts drying. He missed 3 small spots as well as a 2 inch wide by 5 foot long strip along one edge. He told me before he left he had a 90 day warranty and would be back in our neighborhood the following day. I saw the blemishes after the paint started drying so I called and asked him to come back and fix it while he was in the area the following day. He agreed but never showed. Late the next afternoon I sent him a text and asked if he was coming. He replied his plans had changed and he would take care of it the following afternoon. My wife took off work the following day so she could show him exactly what we wanted taken care of but he didn't show, call, or text. He didn't respond to a text the next morning so my wife and I both called and left voice mails. He then replied via text message he had been tied up on another job and would stop by that afternoon or the next. Again, he didn't show either day and didn't call or text. No explanation or request to reschedule, just silence. I gave up at that point, bought a can of paint, and finished it myself."

WFR Carpentry Services is an interior and exterior home remodeling business. I (William Reed) am the sole employee/operator. I do complete gut renovations, from demolition, to reframing and rejoisting, sheetrock, floors, custom cabinetry/shelving, custom islands and other furniture, tile, and painting. For exteriors I build decks, patios, privacy fences, tree houses, stairs, and replace/repair exterior facade components. I do historical restorations as well. I have 10 years experience in the building trades industry, from initially working on historical buildings in New York City to doing gut renovations on private homes there, then transitioning into cabinetry in Portland, OR to finally starting my own carpentry service business back in my native Ozarks in Northern Arkansas. I work on an hourly rate plus all materials, this sets me apart from many other contractors who operate on an "estimate wage principle" meaning that they quote the homeowner a certain amount and then slowly do the job after they get money upfront. I am only being paid while I work for you on your project. If I'm not there, you aren't paying for anything!! I learned this practice while working in New York City, it keeps everything on the level and you(the homeowner) happy!!!! Furthermore, I only work on one project at a time which means you will always be the priority!

He wants you to be satisfied with the work. If he is satisfied, the work is way above average. He has really beautified our home.
