"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

Most people never think about their heating and cooling system until it breaks down. And it always seems to fail when you need it the most. Don't let your system be put in that situation. Edwards Plumbing & Heating is a local family-owned, full-service plumbing, heating, and air conditioning company that has been designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing and air conditioning systems since 1948. We offer a yearly service agreement to insure that your system will not let you down when you need it the most. Our yearly agreement includes a complete summer and winter check. A 10% discount is given on any parts that may be needed and you receive priority service over our non-contract customers if your system should need unexpected attention. Additional DBA - Edwards Plumbing-Heating-Air Conditioning.

"Be wary when looking for a plumber. I contacted Edwards Plumbing and Heating for quote to install a second shower head. I was charged an $85 service fee for the quote. Over a week later, I still have not received my quote. I contacted Edwards Plumbing and Heating to ask for a refund on service fee for the quote (since I didn’t receive it) and they told me they would ONLY IF I removed a review I gave them on google. They expressed it was my responsibility to follow-up with them, not theirs to follow-up with me."

"Called bc my HVAC was cooling at 75. They said I needed to replace everything, I agreed, day of install I was missing one of my cards to pay, I told them immediately what had happened and that I could go with one of their cheaper systems to pay today. I had 12 k to pay that day for their 11 k system. They said they would still install system that day and would work with me and not to worry about a cheaper system. They did not work with me. They instead uninstalled my furnace and hvac and left without talking to me. My hvac is currently in my front yard and my furnace is under my crawl space. Now I have no working air, and the general manager said I cancelled the new hvac and furnace installation so they aren’t reinstalling working equipment that they removed. I will say the people that have come out and work were all nice. I cannot understand why everything was uninstalled though if they had no intention of putting it back or installing the system."

"First call to complete preventative maintenance to insure no roots in line as occurred two years prior. Prompt response and courteous technician however he allowed a pine cone to fall in to the check pipe but assured me it would not be a problem and he failed to re-snake the drain. Technician left. Five days later there is an obstruction in the drain pipe. Office staff seemed less than courteous with a "we'll be there when we get there" attitude and reminding me I would get a telephone call prior to the technicians arrival. That telephone call never came! Although I have an issue with the first technicians failure to re-snake...I have an issue with the callous attitude of the office staff who didn't seem to have a professional and caring demeanor!"

Water Heaters questions, answered by experts

Yes, this would be an appropriate choice. In order to comply with the National Electric Code’s rules, you'll need to install a circuit breaker that's 125% larger than the intended load. In this case, you'll multiply 30 amps by 1.25 to find the necessary breaker size. Plugging that equation in for your 30-amp water heater will leave you with a 37.6-amp breaker. If your current water heater keeps tripping the breaker, it might be time to talk to a plumber or electrician about upgrading your water heater's setup.

When investing in a new furnace, it’s smart to do a home energy audit. That will give you a list of any projects that would help with efficiency, such as sealing or replacing windows and insulating the attic. You can also take this time to install a smart thermostat if you don’t already have one to make heating your home a breeze.

If you are having trouble determining the right breaker size for your water heater, it is a great idea to contact an electrician near you to help. They can help you determine the best option for your home and install the circuit breaker for you, ensuring that you have all the proper permits and that your circuit breaker won’t overload, which could lead to fire and other damage.

Due to the high temperature, using stainless steel vent pipes for your tankless water heater’s exhaust vent is best. Also, it is safe to use a flexible vent duct as the exhaust fan. If installing the exhaust fan yourself, make sure you are using heat-resistant silicon to connect the exhaust vent and the duct on your water heater.

Replacing an older water heater that requires frequent repairs is almost always worth it. If your fixture is nearing the end of its life span—around 10 to 20 years, depending on the model—replacing a water heater might save you money in the long run. Replacing a water heater generally costs less than repairing a fully flooded basement, and some high-efficiency units pay for themselves thanks to energy savings. Plus, installing a new water heater and upgrading to tankless will boost your home value and make your hot water more readily available, improving comfort for your family.
