Small jobs welcome

"Jose painted the exterior trim and garage door on my house. Great rate and responded to all communication promptly. The team arrived on time, completed the job on time, cleaned up after themselves and did great work. I had such a great experience I had them return this spring to pressure wash the house, repair and re-stain my fence. Another great job - I would highly recommend Jose and his team."

"Sunny did an excellent job fixing a table my dad made that was damaged during a UPS shipment. The legs had been broken off during shipping and he was able to make the table like new again. I am so thankful he was the one that called me when I started looking for help. Sunny was able to fix the table immediately. I had the table back in a few days. He even made a video of himself fixing it and put it on his website! Sunny is very professional and reasonably priced! Thank you Sunny!"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

When used correctly, drywall patch kits can work well. However, there are limitations. Specifically, these kits can only cover holes up to 5 inches in diameter. For anything larger than that, you’ll need to cut out the affected section of drywall and replace it with a new piece. That’s a far more complicated process that involves buying the right type of drywall, finding the wall studs, cutting into your wall, and screwing the replacement drywall in place.

Deciding whether to repair or replace drywall can be tricky, but your top considerations should be the extent of the damage and what caused the damage. For instance, if you need to repair a small hole caused by a doorknob that hit the wall, you can safely patch it without a second thought. However, if you have significant drywall damage caused by water damage, it’s best to thoroughly remove the drywall to inspect and repair the pipes behind it before replacing it.

There are several benefits to wet-sanding drywall, but the main perk is that it produces far less dust than dry-sanding. As a result, wet-sanding poses fewer health risks and makes less of a mess in your home. Plus, damp sponges are less abrasive than sandpaper, so there’s a smaller chance of scratching or damaging the drywall paper. Wet-sanding also creates a smoother finish than dry-sanding.

While fumigation chemicals cannot pass through solid objects, they will seep into any openings in walls, doors, or other closed spaces. This allows them to get into tight places where pests may be hiding and causing damage, like termites ruining the foundation of your home. It also means that your home needs to ventilate for 48 hours before returning to ensure that no harmful chemicals remain in your space.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.
