"Maurice was a delight. I am currently pregnant and my husband works 12 hour shifts so we had some projects that we needed done before baby arrives and we simply did not have the time. Maurice came in and painted two of our bedrooms, fixed a leaking faucet, replaced and repaired drywall. He was finished in no time, we couldn t believe it. Took some weight off our shoulders with everything that s going on. We recommend Maurice for any projects around your house I m sure he can take care of them. While both products can be used to fill small depressions and cracks, spackle cannot replace joint compound for taping and mudding new drywall. Conversely, you can often use joint compound for small patching jobs typically done with spackle.

However, simply installing soundproofing drywall may not completely block out noise. You’ll get the best results from incorporating it into a larger soundproofing plan that includes proper insulation and framing studs.

If you have a small leak and are quick to correct the issue and set up blower fans and dehumidifiers, your drywall should dry out.
