"I had a surge suppressor fail on my air conditioning disconnect and caused a small fire Their electricians replaced the surge suppressor and the disconnect. While they were there I also had them replace the broken pipe on me meter socket. They were very professional timely and did great work. I will use them again if I need anything else repaired I highly recommend them for any electrical work."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Yes, you must use the proper wire nut that fits your wire gauge. Using a wire nut that’s too big or too small can cause your connection to fail, short circuit, or disconnect entirely. Ensuring that you have the proper wire nut size will guarantee that your connection lasts as long as possible.

Yes. You can connect your home back-up battery to a generator with its designated charger. Be sure that the output of the generator matches the input requirements for the battery for best results.

Regular inspections, avoiding circuit overloads, and updating wiring when needed help maintain efficiency.

Often, simply looking at a Christmas light fuse will reveal whether it’s blown or not. Dark staining inside the glass that looks like a burn mark means the fuse has blown. If a burn mark isn’t evident, visually inspect the fuse for an intact filament inside. The fuse is no longer usable if the filament is broken or appears non-existent.

The number of outdoor outlets that can be on one circuit depends on the circuit's capacity and the electrical load of each outlet. Outdoor outlets should ideally be on a dedicated circuit that is not shared with other outlets, and each outlet should be rated for at least 15 amps. A circuit rated for at least 20 amps is recommended. It’s important to use GFCI protection for all outdoor outlets to prevent electrical shocks. Overall, it's crucial to avoid overloading the circuit and take necessary safety precautions.
