"DJ saved me. It was Good Friday and when I awoke I had no AC! And to make matters worse I had a sick grandchild who had had a major asthma attack and needed cold air. Even though they were booked they assured me a tech would work me in that day. DJ came at 6:00 pm and repaired my AC. He was very personable, professional, and the price was good. No, it's not advisable to only replace the outside AC unit connected to your system. AC units are designed to work as a cohesive system, and older units work differently than newer units.
