Our company works with contractors as a sub-contractor for installation of plumbing, heating and environmental air systems. The company also works on home and commercial remodels and retro fitting heating and water heating systems.

"I have been working with statewide for 7 plus years. They cut our houses gas bill by 45% with their embassy boiler. Also, I read a review on this page about a lawsuit against statewide. Since Statewide cant post a rebuttle to the bad review below I will. Statewide was not contracted by the reviewer posted that slammed statewide and suid Statewide. Statewide was contracted to replace boilers by the previous owner, not this angies list reviewer. The new owner sued statewide and lost because he didnt own the house at the time of the installation and was buying the building after the fact. Also, the house didnt have very much baseboard copper piping so the house was cold because the baseboard was too small. Anyone who knows heating knows a boiler needs enough pipe to radiate heat. The review below is slander and cost a lot of good business to a great company. I called Statewide today, in five minutes he told me to press reset and heat turned on. It was a sensor and he fixed out w/no OT."

Residential and business water treatment systems. Water softeners, UV lights. We will analyze your water for contaminants such as chlorine, low pH, iron, bacteria, and devise a system to suit your needs. Treat your water from the source, as it enters your home, so whether you are drinking it, cooking with it or bathing in it, your water is pure.

"The process was quick and easy. I just provided a water sample. It was determined that I had high levels of chlorine in our drinking water. I was able to solve my water problems with only one filter. Why did I wait years to have this done? Now I can be confident that our water is safe. Highly recommended."

Water Softeners questions, answered by experts

No. You should never directly drain a water softener into a sewer cleanout. This practice is illegal in many areas because it could allow raw sewage to get into your drinking water and make you seriously ill. Many places have codes requiring a specific seal, pipe, and a large air gap between a water softener and a sewage cleanout. Check out Florida's Plumbing Building Code as an example of what these restrictions might look like.

The best way to soften hard water in the shower is with a water softening system. These whole-home softeners help remove minerals from the water as it enters your home. If you’re looking for a more affordable, shower-specific solution, install a water-softening showerhead to filter water as it’s coming out. With a water softening solution in place, you may find a reduction in mineral deposits as well as cleaner-feeling hair and skin.

While it depends on how complicated the unit and installation is, it takes two to four hours to install a water softener unit, on average. It might take longer if pipes need to be replaced. You should make sure the installation area is clear of any objects that might get in the way before you begin.

To get utilities set up on a property, you first have to contact the local department of planning to determine whether your property is able to connect to public utilities. From there, you can work with a structural engineer and/or a building contractor to design the layout of utility lines on the property. The pros will need this information as they begin securing building permits before they can start adding lines.

If your property isn’t able to connect to public utilities, you’ll need to consider working with pros to develop a comfortable off-grid home that will meet your needs.

Installing a water softener could help reduce calcium buildup in your pool if your pool has high calcium hardness as a result of hard drinking water in your home. Pool softeners work by exchanging calcium and magnesium for sodium, so if you use softened water to top off your pool, it may help keep calcium hardness from rising over time. However, it won’t lower the calcium hardness of the water already in your pool and isn’t a practical way to control pool calcium levels. The average water softener installation cost is between $200 and $6,000.
