Technician arrived the same day and spoke with me about the job needing done. Explain to him I had a leaking faucet in the shower and the value cartridge needed replacement. Replacing the valve cartridge is not a difficult task but it was difficult for me to remove due to the sediment build up over the years. The technician agreed that Moens are tend to be a bit harder to remove. The technician removed the valve cartridge and replaced the new one I already have purchased in under a hour. He checked for leaks and was on his way.

up service call, called them back at after lunch because had not heard back
from them. The service tech calls an hour later to say he was on the way
and should be there in 15 minutes or less. He ran a check on the furnace and discovered that
the control board was bad and it would have to be replaced at a cost of
$568.00, I told him that I thought that was high because I had checked prices
on a new one ($120.00 to $260.00) and that they had just installed a new $1,500.00
water heater two weeks ago and they were the only service I have used over the
past 20 years. The service tech said that he could drop the price down to
$468.88 as I had been a good customer over the years. The work was completed
and paid for they cleaned up their tools and left

"Your comments and this situation have been reviewed by management, and have been addressed directly with the employees. It has not been ignored, over looked, or swept under the rug, but it has taken some time and we apologize for the delay. We are sorry this incident has led to the loss of a valued customer. The “receptionist” you mentioned asked you what we could do to make it right and offered to send our lead technician out, at no additional charge, to make sure we met your needs and expectations. Additionally, she agreed with you that what you requested had not been completed to your satisfaction, understood your frustration, was trying to make sure she understood all of your concerns, and offered to have you speak directly with one of the officers about those concerns. She believed you did deserve better service, which was the reason for the questions and clarification she asked. Our technician should have realized that there were two separate units and completed the inspections for both, and we have apologized several times for the confusion and misunderstanding. We are not sure what more we could offer, in addition to what we have already offered, but if there is something we can do, please contact us."
This morning, 3 June 2015, the owner of Mountain Mechanical did something often unprecedented in customer relations wherein he visited my home as a follow-up to a complaint I previously posted on Angie's List.
Usually when a customer is dissatisfied with the service they have received the company will often dismiss the complainant and ignore the problem. In this case I can report to you the owner of Mountain Mechanical took special interest in a customers' concerns and personally came to my home to discuss my complaint.
To say that my complaint was resolved is not enough. How often do we see an owner actually come to a client's home and visit with them to discuss their issue? I cannot recall this ever happening.
THAT IS THE MARK OF A TRUE PROFESSIONAL.
I will now go out of my way to use their services in the future and can only offer my strongest recomendation to others in Anchorage to do the same.
