Jeremy's prices are reasonable, sometimes less than quoted, never more and, on the deck, lower than other bids. Jeremy ALWAYS returns calls! Communicating with him is excellent and if he sees something I've missed, like the blow-in in the attic, he'll tell me and let ME decide whether or not to continue. There is no coercion that others sometimes have. Again I highly recommend Beautiful Homes by Jeremy for any home remodel or repair jobs. I went to North Country since we had great experience in our green egg purchase. At the showroom at North Country, Greg encouraged me to try their fireplace inspection service. Yes there was a wait, but he believed it would be worth our time. A month later these 2 young men came and literally overhauled our fireplace, and it is indeed like new, fully functioning. They were professional, conscious about any mess they may make (drop cloth and outside work) and were delightful to teach us more about our unit . We now have virtually a new fireplace. Yes this was the most pleasant visit from a local contractor in a long time. Do call them and do wait as it is very worth your dollar.

The work began when both units were empty. I returned after 2 weeks to the following: 1) Sheetrock around both hearths not square - severe bulges and depressions at interior / exterior corners. 2) Tiled entryways were not smooth or flat and there were gaps in the grout. Ryan blamed my selection of natural stone for the unevenness, though the material that I had selected was a honed (perfectly smooth) slate. I had presorted the tiles to be used prior to the job, to ensure that they were cut squarely and of uniform thickness, removing the ones that would have been difficult to use. 3) Installed shelving was stained in place, and stain was running down the walls 4) Both sides of the duplex were covered in a thick layer of dust. The work area had not been isolated from the rest of the unit. The former tenants had paid for carpet shampooing and spent days cleaning the unit prior to move out, which all has to be redone because of the mess. The windows had taken longer to come in than expected, so had not yet been installed. Firedoors to the garage had not been installed. I requested that all future work be canceled due to the quality issues. Ryan delivered the windows as ordered, so that they could be installed by another contractor, at which time I discovered that 5 of the 7 windows did not meet egress standards (which was the only reason that the current windows were being replaced). I also learned that subcontractors / employees which I had not met had done some of the sheet rock work. The use of subcontractors to do sheet rock and / or tile work had not been discussed at the time of the bidding. When I spoke to Ryan on the phone about the progress during the 2 weeks that I was away, I had been told that the work described above (with the exception of the windows, which he had told me were delayed) was completed and would be ready to paint when I returned. After bringing up the issues, Ryan said that the work was not yet done, and that I had essentially seen it before it was finished (with the exception of the tile job, which was complete). There was no pride of workmanship displayed. Ryan was not interested in reviewing the issues when they were presented, and was defensive in his communications. I was invoiced for ~2800 for the work that was completed, and am now having to pay to have almost all of it redone correctly. The tiles I had purchased myself, and will have to reorder. The delays in ordering new windows and repairing the work done has meant at least an additional month without rental income, as well as additional cleaning costs. I reviewed the options on Angie's List and didn't see any that would work for us, so went to the Internet. I had a limited window of time slots open for the chimney sweeps to do the work. This company was available in the narrow window. They arrived on time and did the work in a short time. They were expecting a mess and were pleasantly surprised that the fireplace chimney was in such great condition with almost no residue in the chimney. They were nice, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again, but they said good chance we wouldn't need any work for another 19 years.

Dave And David do extremely beautiful work. They always gives me better than I imagined possible. My new fireplace is lovely. The bathroom is gorgeous. (Dave met me at Lowe’s to pick out everything for the bathroom). They built a custom shelf to utilize the 4” behind the pantry door - they...
Flawless, no hassle to me at all. Bonnie called to say Ken would be dropping off the heavy equipment the next day and he did. They said he would start the day after and he did. Ken walked the site with me, asked a lot of questions and looked at pictures of what I wanted. Then he and his son...

Our realtor gave us a few painting contractors to check out. ABC is who we decided to go with. They were to paint 1380 sqft living space, as well as the trim. Much of the sprayer work was good. The detail work was poorly done. The taping was not well done in many trim corners, and many...

It went very well. Kevin provided us with the project cost immediately after visiting the work site to see what we wanted done. We needed to postpone the start date by a week due to scheduling conflicts and this was happily accommodated by the contractor. Very punctual. Kevin and...

The work on this project was, as usual, excellent and on time which is why I always recommend Beautiful Homes by Jeremy to anyone needing home remodeling or repair work done. Water condensed in one of the bathroom exhaust ducts where it then leaked into our bedroom ceiling. I called Jeremy...
