After a fireplace check by another local contractor, we were told we would need to purchase a new fireplace, now 10 years later at the cost of $4000. I went to North Country since we had great experience in our green egg purchase. At the showroom at North Country, Greg encouraged me to try their fireplace inspection service. Yes there was a wait, but he believed it would be worth our time. A month later these 2 young men came and literally overhauled our fireplace, and it is indeed like new, fully functioning. They were professional, conscious about any mess they may make (drop cloth and outside work) and were delightful to teach us more about our unit . We now have virtually a new fireplace. Yes this was the most pleasant visit from a local contractor in a long time.

They are awesome and their prices are reasonable. They even found a sewer leak under my house and told me about it.
