Ultra Nice Painting

We had 3 estimates from reputable painting companies. Ultra Nice Painting was the lowest bidder and available before the other companies. Once we realized the savings, we added to the job and we were still below the next lowest bid. It was almost to good to be true; but, talking and working with Kevin, I knew we had a solid company. When they were done...WOW! I wanted to move back in myself! We were doing some other things around the house to get it ready for the market once again. Kevin and the crew were very easy to work with: Professional - Trustworthy - Good Communication - Flexible - Courteous. Ultra Nice Painting is TOP SHELF! We highly recommend them and would definitely hire them in the future.

Kevin did a great job! He answered my questions scheduled me quickly and arrived right on time with his crew. All the work was done very professionally over three days, very pleased with the job he even did a great job, in the end, cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommended!

Kevin was awesome to work with and did fantastic work. Our cabin honestly looks like a brand new place. He and his crew took the time to carefully move items that were in their way, and put them back properly when done. I would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a painter!

It went very well.  Kevin provided us with the  project cost immediately after visiting the work site to see what we wanted done. 
We needed to postpone the start date by a week due to scheduling conflicts and this was happily accommodated by the contractor.

Very punctual.  Kevin and Monty showed up right at 7:30 AM on the three days they needed to complete the job.  The wall over the fireplace is poor quality cedar paneling that required two primer coats and a lot of caulking before the paint could be applied.  Even though the extra coat of primer and caulking required additional materials and labor, the work was performed at no additional charge.  Drywall texturing along the hallway in a high traffic area near the kitchen that  showed a lot of wear was also performed.

We are very happy with the results and can recommend Ultra Nice Painting without reservation.  We plan to use again in the future.

kevin promptly returned all calls and showed up to work when he said he would. he gave me a quote (not an estimate) of the cost on the day he came to look at the project. he said he would start the job the following week. a couple of days later i called him for a price to add a second bedroom to the job. he told me the cost, and it was not a problem for him to do this additional work. this was a 3 day project. on the second day, i asked him if he could add 2 exterior doors to the list. this was not a problem. he repaired a hole in the sheet rock that we talked about when he came to do the quote. but, he also repaired hole in the second bedroom that i had not mentioned. there were other flaws in the walls that he repaired without me specifically asking. the walls in my house are "textured", it was built in 1978. there were several areas that needed to be re-textured. he had the proper equipment to do this and it matches the surrounding areas perfectly. kevin and his crew are professional, hard working, timely, honest, skilled and pleasant to be around. i would recommend them to anyone, and would certainly hire them again.

I had scraped the popcorn off the ceiling and it was in need of repair.  I contacted Ultra Nice Painting to come and take a look.  Kevin Nice was very prompt in responding to my request for a quote and we immediately set up a meeting at my house the next day.  I explained to him what I wanted and he gave a few suggestions.  An agreement was made & time schedule for him to come over and skim coat the ceiling.  On the appointed day, he showed up on time.  I needed help removing the ceiling fan which him & his partner took care of with no problems.  However, he did not bring any lights so I scrambled around the house trying to find lights that would work for him.  Once that was taken care of he had the ceiling done in no time.  I had a few holes that needed patched & the light fixture hole was bigger than the light so he fixed that too.

Due to scheduling conflicts and other appointments, after skim coating the ceiling he was scheduled to come back out 2 weeks later.

This time, he came with lights and proceeded to sand the ceiling, patch a few areas, and paint the final color on the ceiling.  It turned out fantastic and he even reinstalled the ceiling fan!!

There were only a few issues that came up. 

1.  He didn't bring lights the first day out.

2.  On skim coat day, I said I had drop cloths already down & I told him he could just leave them there.  However, on sanding day I did not realize the amount of dust that would be left on the drop cloths so I was left with quite a mess to clean up.  I feel he should have mentioned this and suggested to pull up the cloths and use his own plastic sheets.  But lesson learned, I'll remember this for the other ceilings that need skim coated.

Arrived on time as promised and finished within the time frame provided.  Excellent work.

Kevin & crew left the house mess free. Kevin has a great personality, friendly and down to earth. He doesn't beat around the bush and was very honest. That helped with our decision to rehire for a larger job, thanks Kevin & crew!

The job went very well. I'll admit there were a few issues to deal with, but Kevin and crew got after it with a positive attitude. Would defiantly use them again and will recommend to others.

The living space is as big as two rooms and we wanted it painted brown with red trim. All of the painters were friendly and they wanted to be sure we had everything perfectly done. They actually cleaned after they finished each area and vaccummed.

They showed up exactly on time and made sure that they cleaned up behind themselves which most contractors don't do.  I  highly recommend Kevin and his crew  to anyone that wants the job done right the first time!

Everything went extremely well. Kevin and his employees showed up and were very professional. They patched the hole the first day and made an appointment to come back and paint once it was dry. I found Kevin very easy to work with. They matched the paint exactly and left no extraneous mess. Highly recommended!
