"A Rare Gem in Alaska – Truly Exceptional Contractor! Finding a dependable and skilled contractor in Alaska is no easy task—but working with Michael Parfirev from Marvell LLC was an absolute game changer. He far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the beginning, Michael was professional, honest, and incredibly communicative. He kept us informed on timelines, materials, and any unexpected issues, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. His work ethic is truly unmatched. Michael put in long, hard hours and approached every part of the project with precision, care, and pride in his craftsmanship. The decks he built for us came out even better than we imagined—beautiful, solid, and built to last. Contractors like Michael are rare, especially here in Alaska. We are beyond grateful for his work and will absolutely hire him again for future projects. If you’re looking for top-quality results and someone you can trust, look no further than Marvell LLC. Highly recommended!"

"Great attention to detail. Suggested work that I would not have thought about so the projects turned out better than anticipated. We had him do our second bathroom as well and we absolutely love them both. His price for beautiful custom work was comparable to prefab estimates we got."

"Called Harris Roofing after the wind storm and was blown away with how quick they responded. Within 24 hours I had a repair done, a quote for a new roof and a contract sent to me. Fast forward 2 weeks later and he tore off and replaced my roof and only took about 1.5 days. Always kept me updated along the way and job site was always clean. Price was reasonable and didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. Would recommend this roofing company to anyone for any roofing needs!"

Small jobs welcome

"We had several small home repair projects but the biggest was replacing kitchen floor tiles. Ryan, Alex, and crew were very communicative throughout the entire process and did an amazing job! This was our first time hiring a company for home repairs and feel fortunate to have had such a positive experience."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Hiring a professional to do a loft conversion will certainly speed up the process. The construction steps required to change the slope of the roof can be quite difficult to do as a DIY job. Should the project run into any snags, like rot in the joists, frayed wiring, or roof leaks, hiring a local home remodeling professional makes it far easier to handle these issues safely.

Yes, many providers offer design consultations to help optimize and maximize space, functionality, and usage. It is recommended to confirm the availability of this service with your specific installer or contractor.

Mediterranean architecture comes from traditional building styles of countries on the Mediterranean Sea mixed with French, Greek, and Moroccan influences. There are three main types of Mediterranean architecture: Italian Renaissance, Spanish Revival, and modern.

Some signature components of Mediterranean architecture include red terra cotta roofs, archways, stucco siding, and metal detailing on windows. These homes often have balconies and outdoor living areas.

Blueprints are generally available for houses built after the early 1900s. Before then, detailed building schematics like blueprints were rarely used and even more rarely saved. If you have an older house and need blueprints, you can have a new set drawn up by an architect or draftsperson.

The process involves initial consultation, concept development, detailed planning, regulatory approvals, and integration of contractor work for project execution.
