Not a fan that I wasn't informed of him replacing my back flow valve and fill valve without asking me. $400+ in parts Not as punctual as they used to be when I worked along side them in the industry. Their new pricing is absurd and I can't fathom how lower income families could afford a scheduled service call let alone and after hours emergency. I don't leave any reviews ever but this one seemed worthy

Phenomenal. Mat Su Mechanical was extremely professional and effecient. Spoke with the supervisor during my initial call, I was desperate for help as I couldn't even get other plumbers to answer their phones! He told me exactly what I needed to do to prevent further damage and explained the situation. Sent a plumber (Joe) out the next day and we were all fixed up and ready to go by that afternoon. Joe was extremly professional and intellegent. The price was less than expected which was extremely nice. I will definitely call them first if I ever need plumbing help!

Mat-Su Mechanical installed our furnace 5 years ago. The furnace never worked right. Each time they came to "fix" it they wrote a list of parts, charged us for labor and did not follow up. We had to call several months later and the same thing would happen. They would write a list of parts, charge us for the house call and not follow up. The furnace still does not run correctly. We are looking for a different company to help us.

I have used MatSu Mechanical for a number of years for various heating and plumbing services. Their techs are experienced, courteous and professional. Their prices are reasonable and their services dependable.

They did a fantastic job. The crew was highly professional. We did have
one small leak on a soldered pipe joint the day after but the response time for
the repair was lightning fast. If I had any unfavorable comment it would be
that their billing is a bit odd. I paid the full amount by credit card over the
phone but charges to my account were applied in smaller amounts over several
days. Not a huge problem but it did make it mildly awkward accounting wise on
our end.

The office staff was friendly and I was able to set up an appointment quickly. The Tech was timely and professional, plus willing to discuss the mechanical issues.
My furnace was not working and he was able to assess the problems, plus had all the necessary parts with him. This is the first time I have used Mat-Su Mechanical and I would call them again.

I was on a business trip and my wife called me to say our air conditioner in Alaska was not pumping out cold air. First of all, air conditioners in Alaska are very rare. So I was a bit nervous about anyone working on our system. We've only had our home for a year and have not needed it serviced as of yet. I called two places and told my wife that the first one to respond gets my business. I called them after hours and Mat Su Technical called us 5 minutes after they opened the next morning. I worked out an appointment with them and we set up an appointment for 11am the next morning. The person setting up the appointment did warn me that it could be a little later but we set up a 30 minute call ahead so I figured we would be ok. The next day, we did not receive any communication until 1230. They said they would be there in an hour and they were. After an inital inspection, it was found that our filters were clogged. He cleaned out the filters and then he instructed my wife how to remove, clean, and maintain them. He was very clean, very courteous, and very patient with all of my wife's questions. The charge was $125.00. It was a little pricey for a vaccuuming and an instruction class but thats the price we pay for not cleaning the filters sooner. Based on this service alone, they will now be my primary service company for my furnace, air conditioner, and filtration system. Thank you, Mat Su Mechanical!!!

The install was great, but the service was terrible.

Was here in minutes ( it was -24). Charged less for repair than other company that came out by appointment!!

It was again a wonderful experience.

Annual service call, fix identified, offered to do it or have us do it, we opted for them to do it, he went to get parts, did the fix, we paid the bill.

I didn't like them because they don't clean up after themselves. The price is average. They are pretty responsive.

We were very pleased with the services provided by Matsu Mechanical and will use them in the future.

They were very professional and nice. They were very prompt. When they make an appointment, they are here before the appointment. The price and quality were very good. They know their stuff. Their punctuality was excellent.

Overall the furnace inspection/maintenance went well. They were timely, friendly and reasonably priced. The ignition element went out on my furnace shortly after I had the yearly maintenance but they were able to order a replacement part and install it for me without any hassle.

We took our Toyo stove to the Talkeeta shop for general cleaning/maintenance. They provided us with a temporary Toyo while they worked on ours. We brought our Toyo to them and picked it up ourselves so I am not sure if they would come and get yours etc. for free or for a small fee. Unfortunately we were not happy with the end result of our Toyo. After the service/maintenance our Toyo ran much louder, vibrated loudly and made a rattle when running. The Toyo fan would never kick into high after that either. We did not bother to try to get this resolved with Mat-Su Mechanical, we figured we would invest in a new stove when the time came and put this one in the garage. My husband did think the price for this general maintenance was a bit much, even more after our outcome.

I also received a bid from Mat-Su Mechanical through GI Builders for the completion of my unfinished house. Mat-Su Mechanical was very friendly, professional, helpful and the bid was very affordable (GI Builders gave us the actual bid from Mat-Su Mechanical, along with the bid from GI using Mat-Su Mechanical as a subcontractor, this was we could compare costs and decided if we wanted GI to supervise (subcontract) or if we wanted that headache ourselves).

We did not finish our house after all, we bought a newer one. We plan on using Mat-Su Mechanical again for a project we want to do in our new house.

Overall I am very happy with my interactions with Mat-Su Mechanical.

They were able to get the job done and thought their pricing was reasonable. I would definitely use them again in the future.
