  • CS Tree Services Inc
Great. We had two very large pine trees and a couple of smaller trees removed. The largest pine was in the septic tank field, and they were able to remove it without damaging the ground . They had to pause during a thunderstorm, but stayed to finish everything. professional, respectful

  • Shamrock Waterproofing
Shamrock waterproofing was recommended when we moved from another state into an older home 2 years ago. The job was completed before we moved in; and, we were impressed with the number of workers from other service companies (our handyman, Termite specialist, HVAC installing our duct system), who commented on the quality of the job that Shamrock did, one of them saying “who did your crawl space, it’s immaculate”. Now, 2 years later, we needed a drain system to re-direct storm water in our sloping back yard, and were delighted that Shamrock could do the job. Keith came by within a couple days and explained options and a very fair quote for approximate install in 6 weeks. Michelle, in their office, was so cooperative—she was on top of scheduling, and arranged the date around our vacation plans. As the appointment neared, I took videos of the rainwater and emailed them just so they could see the issue in action. Andrew (a supervisor) felt it was a good idea to come by before the job to check the area out to make sure the plan was on target. On the day of the job, the crew showed up on time, and started to work. They ran into obstacles that they didn’t count on—digging through unexpected tree roots and a lot of clay, as well as 100˚ heat; but, they seemed to take it in stride—working non-stop. When the job was complete, they walked me through the process, pointing out each part of the job, explaining the reasons for lowering dirt in one area, raising it in other areas. It all made sense. And, they paid attention when I requested that they try to dig for the pipe in one area to avoid removing as much grass as possible. They managed to replace the grass in that area so that it looked undisturbed. The workers (Ryan, Oscar and Alberto) were a dedicated team who were respectful, professional, and did the job with seeming care of our yard. We highly recommend Shamrock Waterproofing, and appreciate a job well done

  • Cackalacky Construction
Excellent work! Everything was done well and in a very timely manner. Our driveway looks great and the new culvert that desperately needed to be fixed is as good as new. We also had them remove old fencing and level off area for our new lawn. Overall we are very satisfied with the way everything turned out and will definitely hire again in the future when we need work done

  • Cackalacky Construction
Cackalacky Construction did a great job of clearing the area, which involved demolition of an old building along with tree removal, leveling the ground for my new workshop and pouring a nice even slab. Great communication thorough-out the project, Nathan was a pleasure to work with and provided a high quality service and product - would highly recommend and would definitely hire again

  • Nicolas' Hardscapes & Drainage LLC
Nicolas Drainage and Hardscapes helped my neighbors and me with two drainage projects at Marley Way in Fuquay. They were the third company to try to help. The other landscape contractors would talk a good game, but they rushed through the project, with no apparent supervision and did not help much with my problem, one charged $2,800 and the other $12,000, probably at least half of that was wasted. Then I tried Nicolas Drainage and Hardscapes. Nicolas is hands on, he got out there, often using surveying type tools to get the proper elevations, as he meticulously graded the drainage channels with equipment small enough go over plywood so not to damage other parts of the yard, while his crew used mostly used hand-held tools like shovels and wheel barrels. One project I split with a neighbor for $4,000 (my part was $2,000) and the other I split the cost of $3,000 with two neighbors (my part was $1,000). Nicolas makes a point to stay in touch, and has fine-tuned the project over a year later for no extra charge, while the failed contractors have not reached out, even though I have tried to be nice to them

  • First Impressions Lawn & Garden
Fantastic! Paul and his team are excellent to work with. They are diligent and flexible in the discussion on what needed to be done. There was a lot of labor involved and it was not an easy project. The landscaping team was courteous, polite, and very accommodating. I honestly couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and can highly recommend First Impressions for a job well done

  • Nicolas' Hardscapes & Drainage LLC
I could not recommend Nicolas and his crew more highly for hardscape and drainage solutions. Nicolas was highly responsive, asked lots of questions, and was intent on getting our job exactly to our specifications. When our pre-designed patio plan (created by a friend of mine who is a landscape designer) did not actually fit well in the space, Nicolas helped us redesign the patio on the fly and gave us a beautiful solution. He worked hard to find brick pavers that would match our existing patio space. He thoughtfully salvaged a mature hydrangea plant that had to come up for the new patio and moved it to a great new spot without even being asked. The crew was incredibly punctual, professional, and unbelievably efficient--despite being rained out on a few days, they completed all the demo of our old space, the grading, the new brick patio, and the dry creek bed in just a few days. Nicolas, Andrew, Simon, and Manuel were so friendly, respectful of our space, and nice to my kids, and they cleaned up all of their work completely, leaving behind nothing but a beautiful new side yard for us to enjoy for many years to come. Nicolas also had other great suggestions for next steps for our space. I just can't say enough good things about this company

  • Nicolas' Hardscapes & Drainage LLC
In 2013, Nicolas and his amazing team created the most beautiful paver patio (with gas and wood fire pits) for us, along with building a retaining wall and grading/landscaping our property. He returned this Spring to help re-sod our back yard (we wanted to change from fescue to Bermuda grass) and he sealed the patio. I cannot praise Nicholas enough - he is a grading master and a patio artist! Our patio is 8 years old and looks brand new. His team was so professional and Nicolas was involved with the project every step of the way. I give Nicolas’ Hardscapes and Drainage my highest recommendation

  • Gardens of the Carolinas
We had a wonderful experience with Garden of the Carolinas. We wanted a complete overhaul of our backyard with pool, patio, walkways, pavilion, decking, fencing, privacy, plantings, lighting, etc. We very much enjoyed the design process with Diana and could not be happier with the plan she came up with. John and his team were always quick to respond throughout the design and construction process, very willing to make adjustments (increased patio, added plantings in buffer, side yard and front yard, re-worked drainage swale outside fence, etc.) and brought the plan to life in a well-executed and timely fashion. The crew was professional, hardworking and took great care accessing the site through the common area of our subdivision. We are very happy with how everything came together and look forward to enjoying our beautiful new space! I highly recommend Gardens of the Carolinas and will use them again for my future landscaping needs

  • Advanced Structural Repair LLC
Carlos and the Advanced team did an amazing job on our repair. We had a garage floor that had settled on one side. They installed helical piers and poured a new floor as well as addressing a structural problem in our crawl space related to historical water flow. The crew showed up on time or early each day they were here and kept an impeccably clean worksite. The crew was friendly and professional and went above and beyond to ensure things were done right. The level of professionalism throughout the process, from evaluation to completion, was very high. We felt well cared for and are very happy with the result
