The septic tank had not been emptied in over 16 years and was 7 feet down under the back yard. Andy Podobnik came well recommended. He couldn't do the excavating of the tank himself, but gave us his brother's name and number for the excavation.
When the time came to empty the tanks, after the covers were excavated and taken off, he was in and out fairly quickly, and did a great job. Our house is on a hill with limited access to the back yard, so I expected issues with getting the hoses up to and down from the area. There was no problems and no mess to deal with afterward.
