Lo's Contracting, Inc.We are providing a recommendation for Lo?s Contracting without hesitation. We live in a beautiful Dutch Colonial home that was built in 1927 and it was way past time to update and refresh. We got a few bids to repaint a couple rooms, our front entry and stairwell including the ceilings. Amadou from Lo?s Contracting was the only contractor to point out there was wallpaper in the entry and stairwell that should be removed first. I am well aware of upselling but decided to go with Lo?s because Amadou spent time explaining the process and how important it was to do it correctly. His employees are very professional and worked non-stop. Amadou came by everyday to check on us (the customer) and with his employees. FIVE layers of wallpaper were removed. The work met our expectations and was completed in the time frame Amadou proposed. We will work with Amadou and his team again and hope anyone reading thiswill give Lo?s Contracting a try- Steve H.

Lo's Contracting, Inc.The house that we recently bought is about 60 years old and has lots of bulging walls due to settlement. When Amadou came to give us the estimate, we couldn't really believe the price he gave us, it was about 1/2 of what the other contractors gave us! We have our doubts too, but after reading his reviews on Angie's List, we decided to hire him and we're glad that we made the right choice! Amadou and his co-worker came right on time and did a great job in repairing our plaster walls and removing our wallpapers (we had a really hard time removing the wallpaper ourselves since it not only has one but 3 layers!). The time it took to finish the job was more than what Amadou expected, but he did it without adding any charges for us (he estimated one day, but it took him 2 days to finish everything). Overall, we are very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him to anybody who's thinking of repairing their plaster walls or removing wallpapers. The crew was courteous and left the area clean. The final day they were rushing to get the job completed as rain was expected the following day. The trim work looks rushed but I have the leftover paint and did the touch up myself. Overall I am happy with the job done for the price I paid.

I recently contracted with Posten Painting to prime and paint my unfinished basement. I did get 3 bids and Posten, yet they were not the cheapest bid, there were the most detailed and professional. The paint crew were all extremely nice and great to do business with. The quality of the work was fantastic. I would definitely hire Posten again for my next paint project.

Overall an acceptable outcome. Alex does great work. But there were issues early in the project with a helper that Alex brought in to assist. Helper was just inexperienced and made a lot of sloppy mistakes (paint dripping down the siding like ice cream melting in the sun, dribbles of paint on nearby surfaces, left to puddle and dry in place, etc.). When I asked Alex to please finish the job alone, he was responsive and fixed the situation by bringing in a "guy who knows how to paint." Thing is, when I hire a professional painting company, I already assume they know how to paint!

The quality and skill of their painting work is excellent. I appreciated the professionalism and high integrity shown by Stan and his crew. Stan gives very sound advice. In addition to painting the house, they repaired leaky gutters that had caused me issues.. They focused on jobs that they can do well, and recommended that I find other experts for jobs they cannot take on. I felt that they had my best interest at heart. When one of the downspouts came loose (simple mis-step) a few weeks later, I called and Stan responded immediately and fixed it. I will hire them again, and recommend to others.

Andrew bid the job himself, taking careful notes about my concerns for the large fit trees along the fence. Arrived on time, worked quickly, and communicated every detail in a professional manner. The crew, Jose and Jose and Alfredo were very hard workers, organized and friendly. It was amazing to watch them… They had such a rhythm!! As the crew worked, they discussed the details and got our approval as they installed the new fence. And they took care not to damage any plants. :-) We had them remove the old fence and install 100 feet of cedar fence. The new fence looks great!
