Unbelievable! I saw an add on Angies list for a very reasonable one room price. I immediately thought of how I dread painting my kitchen. Cabinets, countertops, nooks and crannies, I was shocked when the offer was good for my kitchen too. Thomas came in, a true professional did such a quick, wonderful job on the dreaded kitchen I asked him about my dining room. He was very willing to include it for almost nothing. I tell you, to stand there and watch someone who truly knows how to paint made me giggle. Remarkable, I paid him quite a bit more than the almost nothing he was asking. Just for the pleasure of watching, sounds stupid, I know. Just hire him and have the giggle on me. Thanks Thomas

Once the weather cooperated, they were on time, pleasant, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

Within the first week, I could tell they were not all that responsive, it took a couple days to return emails when requesting info on their quote. I just figured that was due to volume. Once we requested the contract to get going, everything seemed fine. We signed the contract, got it back to them and then waited for dry weather for them to do the work. The first day, I left a check under the front door mat and got a call from their desk lady who had told me he left some stuff there that he needed, it happened to be down on the ground off the front deck, and that he had misplaced the check I left him and they needed me to give them another...made me very nervous....she called me back later and told me he found it...but really? You are going to make your client nervous like this? Then there was some miscommunication on the type of stain we wanted on the back deck, I said clear but I guess what I was suppose to say was transparent, unfortunately they never explained this to me or counseled me on this. The front porch ended up being much darker than we had wanted...we said as close to the front porch as possible (which was a redwood color)...it ended up being deep/dark brown. When I called them...I had to ask if they had done the back deck yet. They had, with clear, which showed everything on the back deck, including spots that had been missed. While I take part of the blame for my verbiage saying "clear," I'm not a professional and wished there had been more communication around this on their end. She called me back and said she had good news, if we wanted it to be fixed, we could buy the stripper, and they would strip for free... and they would re-do the back deck at a lower cost then before (because they didn't want a dissatisfied client)...I never heard back from them. Then the worst part, I got very upset about this. When walking around the house, I found at least 20 cigarette butts left by the crew, in my grass, on the side of my house, on the front brick out cropping, on my back cement patio...I still can't believe this. That just showed me utter disrespect and that they really didn't care about this job. I sent a text to their coordinator after seeing this...I have given a month for her to respond to this...and have never heard anything. I am in sales and I know that word of mouth is huge, you can't make it without referrals. I would never refer this group to anyone and I would in fact tell them NOT to use them. I wish it was different, I like to give people chances to make up for mistakes but I haven't heard a peep back. How can it even be remotely ok with them to litter our entire yard of cigarette butts and expect not to hear this type of review? Had they done well with this, we could have referred them so much business...instead...this. On top of the aforementioned, our deck has black rails on them...they didn't bother to clean these and they were speckled with the wood stripped by pressure washing, also, the front windows and front of the house was littered with the same type wood scrapings...I had to wipe all this down myself. Not sure if they had a vendetta against us or what the deal was but come on...a little professionalism? We ended up having to get the house pressure washed because of their mess.

The team of two arrived punctually and set to work. They masked off, put down drop clothes, removed outlet covers and fixtures, and then proceeded to paint. They did a primer coat and finish coat. When furniture or cabinetry needed moving, they did that without complaint, and no paint got on any surface where it didn't belong.

The painters sent over were unprofessional, they failed to use the drop cloths provided by their employer and got paint all over everything including my 47" T.V. Then the owner came over for an assessment, agreed on the damage and offered to send over his highest quality,(his description), painter to fix it. No one has since called from his office to set up an appointment to do the fix or to even talk to us. I will be filing a claim on his contractor's insurance, that's if he actually has any. we'll see.

Two people, the owner and a worker showed up originally and then the owner they were saying it's going to be two people but then he was called away so it was the one worker that did most of the work but he did come back to make sure that she had done everything properly and helped clean up so that was good.

They were great. It worked out really well. I had used them previously. They were not available right away and had to wait about a month before they came out. They were really nice. Just that I felt that they were a little slow and left a few paint stains on the floor. They did some additional paint work for me in the hallway. They charged about five hundred hundred dollars for the additional work which I felt was too much. I was paying by the hour and felt they were quite slow. I would probably use them again though as of now, i prefer the company i used after i used them.

Great! They painted 4 rooms and wood trim, plus trim in hallways, and living room ceiling. Excellent job, very neat and cleaned up well. It was an Angie's list big deal and I bought two for 2 painters for 8 hrs each for 2days.

Very well. Tom (the owner) came out and measured and gave me instructions on the amount of paint needed. The day of the appointment the painters arrived on time and were very courteous. I was a little nervous about 2 light fixtures that were not able to be removed near the high ceiling. They stated no problem and were able to paint around the fixtures. Overall they did a great job, very professional, prompt and skilled.

We originally had Brakeall out to give us a bid in Dec. 2015. They gave us a very competitive bid, but we unfortunately just didn't have the money at the time to proceed with professional painters and ended up painting it ourselves. It was a lot of work and we don't really want to have to do all the touch up work we have remaining. We purchased a big deal through angieslist and used it for 2 painters for half a day. They came out and got to work and did a good job. We hired them back a week later to repaint the entry way and main floor hallway. Again another great job. We have been restoring our home for the past 2.5 years. We have had no less than 6 different painters in our home. Yes, we are those people. We have paid a lot of money and we have paid not a lot. So trust me when I say Brakeall painting does and excellent job for the price they charge. Excellent!

They just finished yesterday. They were great to work with. They were terrific. They were really great. They did such a good job. They finished the job and we gave them a second job because the work was so good. We had them come to do more. What stood out was how careful they were, how they paid attention to detail and how they really wanted to do a good job. They did a good job. Price was good. They were responsive to us. I would absolutely use them in the future.
