Not a good experience here. Wasted alot of time with them and they overcharge for certain things. Didn't do what was promised as well. Would not recommend. It was also discovered water remained underneath the flooring after the remediation was completed. A perfectly good garbage disposal was damaged as well. Also questionable sub contractors hired at high prices.

I hired them to do a mold remediation when selling my house. To be honest it started off a little rocky when an employee no longer with the company missed spots of mold. This could have led to some issues but I was able to work with Jason who did everything he could to fix the issue. He personally went back and finished the job himself to the satisfaction of everyone involved. He was able to turn a possible negative experience into a very positive one. I would recommend them to someone after my interactions with Jason.

Jayson, Richie, and McKenzie were always responsive, professional, friendly, punctual, and effective in their work. In short, they were on top of their game. I was especially impressed by their willingness to go our of their way to make sure things were done right, and their willingness to share their expertise in what the next steps to take to prevent needing another remediation type of repair.

Under the leadership of Jason Carley, the company was professional in every way, prompt in response and action, thorough in attention to detail. The company was most considerate of the family need to be in and out of the impacted space during the work process and to be fully considerate of our need to maintain residency as they accomplished their tasks. Jason and the company were professional and most respectful in every step of the process. He kept us informed daily. Company employee Richie McKenzie paid great attention to details of property damage and equipment set up for drying out of space. He was considerate of our questions and comfort throughout the work process. Company employees Dave and Craig were prompt and fast in removal of sheet rock and insulation, respectful to our requests, attentive to cleanliness in the work space. In very aspect, they demonstrated quiet, high levels of professionalism. We were most comfortable with this Team being in our residence as work demanded. Worth noting...this work was accomplished while in the height of Christmas holidays. I highly recommend this Company and Team.

Jayson worked with our insurance adjuster to hammer out a budget and then worked with me on costs to upgrade parts of the kitchen that we were willing to pay extra. His team made it easy to understand what parts of the project I would be paying for out of pocket and which parts were covered by insurance. His team even helped us save money on our countertops by shopping around to find a better product at a lower price. Jayson always responded to my messages in a timely manner and was very open to communicate when we needed to work out any issues, and his positive attitude made it easy to work through potentially stressful situations. In the end, we were able to not only replace but upgrade our flooring, cabinets, countertops, and backsplash to create a kitchen we really love. What started out as a tragedy turned out to be a beneficial kitchen remodel thanks to Jayson and his team!

Jayson made a really bad Situation better with his responsiveness - on a Sunday- and calm professionalism. He saved my hardwoods, Worked with my insurance guy, organized all of the subs to come in and do all the needed work- painting, carpentry, flooring, etc. I had seen the ads on TV so my first call when I discovered the flood was to ServPro. I am so happy I did.

Jayson with ServPro did an excellent job determining what needed to be done after our entire downstairs got soaked with water. He responded quickly, evaluated the problem, got the equipment in place, checked all over the areas with his tools to measure moisture levels in flooring and drywall, and explained the process to us thoroughly. Jayson was here everyday to monitor the progress of the dry-out and move machines to target harder to dry areas. We truly appreciate Jayson's compassion and understanding--he is incredible. He was our answer to prayer. HIGHLY recommend Jayson!

Jayson helped address a leak that sprung under our kitchen in our crawl space quickly and effectively. After calling the general ServPro hotline on a Saturday, I was told I would be contacted on Monday. To my surprise, I received a call within 15 minutes from Jayson saying he could meet the very next day to check out the leak and set up a plan to get it resolved. Within the next couple days, the leaky pipe was replaced, the mess was cleaned up, and dryers and dehumidifiers were set up to remove any remaining moisture. The ServPro employees were kind and communicated when they were coming over to work in the house and when they were leaving. Jayson and his team performed at a high standard and gave me confidence during an unfortunate situation.

No, I absolutely would not use this provider again. They could create a definite time line for the job to begin and end. They could have a more specific list of things and could be specific about the project like the color and brand of paint to be used and if they don't have that to ask for it when they are drawing up their plan. They didn't have a clear scope of the issues that came up during the demo, like the duct work they claim they didn't know was there. They were up in the attic crawlspace beforehand looking at what was involved in that area and clearly there was a duct in that space. That wasn't figured into their work scope so we had to stop everything and get that taken out. There were problems with the fire stop on the framing. When they were putting the framing in they didn't calculate the fire stop and then later tried to charge us extra for that when it was clearly part of the scope of the project that they didn't figure into and then tried to pass it onto us to pay extra. That code was in place many years before. The contractor told me it must have been a new code that he was not aware of  and that was not true. There was some due diligence that wasn't completed on his part. I had asked him to drop a floor for a shower that was going to be going in and he just didn't contract, he didn't include anything about the shower. There were some errors probably on both sides, but he didn't help me to understand that there was more to be done if he wasn't going to pursue the shower that I needed to find other solutions if he didn't want to give me an estimate on that part. My tile person thought my contractor was doing the shower ect. There were some communication problems early on and they and they seemed to drag the project out forever based on their schedule. They weren't at all concerned about our schedule. That is due to the fact that there was no specified time line and that may very well be a part on our side as well. My dad had to use a porta potty for months and had to go live with other people for months because they just took their time and tried to blame it on other factors that didn't have a lot to do with it. They had one guy coming to work when we expected a team of workers to come in and just working on this. He came up with a lot of excuses which was definitely not very professional. Especially with his electrician, we had a horrible experience with him and getting him to come back and finish what he started. We had even hired him to do extra stuff because he seemed to be promising when he first got here and he turned out to be a total dud. So, that wasn't a very good experience. The job did finish, I'm just not completely satisfied with the end result as far as some of the paint job and the fact that we had to constantly babysit every aspect of the job. They had to redo a lot of things that they were trying to pass off as good work. The ceiling in the bathroom was lumpy. I mean, it had obviously lumpy seams. The seam work was horrible, you could see it. He tried to tell me it would just go away with the light, once we had the lighting in. We were not happy with that so we told him it was not a good explanation for us and that it needed to be redone. He made it sound like it wasn't a big deal. Just kind of dismissed our concerns. Later he tried to apologize for it but I just, I had already gotten a bad taste in my mouth about this person and it really didn't sit well with us. They ended up redoing the ceiling and it turned out much better. We had to have them do a lot of touch up painting. I think that was kind of normal after all the other workers had come in. The trim work painting was horrible, horrible. I was assured they would do prep work before they painted the trim because it was existing trim. I raised concerns about it in a photo that I had sent him and he said they were definitely going to do trim work before they painted and they did not. It just got to the point where it was exhausting to try to tell these people to come back, that it looked bad. I just started living with it because I didn't feel like I was getting acceptable work. So I just sort of dropped it after that.

I don't typically write reviews, but the crew and experience provided by Majic Painting prompted to do so. I've worked with several contractors on various house we've owned in the past, including house painting, and the quality of the crew and work detail were exceptional. Andrew Harris and Silviano were onsite performing the work, and Jayson (the owner) did the initial walkthrough and bid the job. Once the skies turned dry and painting season arrived, the crew arrived, prepped, and tackled our home's 15+ year paint job with a vengeance. They chipped, caulked, filled, primed and painted with smiles on their faces and were a pleasure to chat up while on the job. By the end of day 2 they asked me to go around and find any missed spots before they finished up the following day (3300 sq ft late 70's post-and-beam house)... I walked it that evening with a roll of Blue painters tape to mark anything to be fixed the following day. I found MAYBE a dozen small areas, most of which they pointed out they would wrap up the following day... excellent coverage and attention to detail! Upon final completion the third day, the jobsite was clean and they parted, again with smiles on their faces. I walked the jobsite and did a detailed inspection... The quality of edging (cutting), coverage and cleanup were top notch, with 'interior grade' attention to detail. These guys were top notch, and among my best experiences with a contracted crew, from start to finish. Hire them, they'll do you good.
