We provide services for shower doors, mirrors, failed window replacement, general glasswork (i.e. table tops, cabinet glass, etc.) and small commercial. We accept cash, check or credit card payments. Our prices are competitive and we can beat most prices.
"Fabulous!! Darrin and his crew replaced 5 windows for us over the past two months. We had some curved top windows (which other companies would not bid on due to their complexity to measure) as well as oversized picture windows that needed glass replacement because of fogging and leaking seals. They erected scaffolding to navigate our 15' elevation, wore booties over their shoes to protect our carpet and wood floors and cleaned up after themselves when finished. From bid to completion of work, Darrin was always on time, professional, personable and easy to work with. We would highly recommend D&M Glass to others and will certainly use them again in the future."

"Brendan Hutchins was an exceptional electrical apprentice during his time with my company (DeKorte Electric-which I sold in 2017). He consistently demonstrated reliability by always being on time and showcased remarkable dedication to his apprenticeship studies. Brendan had a natural talent for quickly picking up the intricacies of the electrical trade, and his positive attitude was truly inspiring to those around him. Although my hope was for him to remain with my company, earn his journeyman status, and take on greater responsibilities, Brendan had other dreams. He left to pursue a career as a general contractor, a field in which he has undoubtedly excelled. His departure was on good terms, and I remain incredibly proud of the professional success he has achieved. Brendan's work ethic, talent, and drive made a lasting impression on me, and I have no hesitation in giving him a 5-star review. He is a consummate professional and an asset to any endeavor he undertakes."

Windermere Voss Property Management is a full service property management company. Owner Richard Voss established the company in 2003 after seeing a need for his clients and agents affiliated with his real estate office. Having been in real estate sales since 1992, and an owner of multiple investment properties, my business model is based on my personal experiences in handling of properties and tenants. In 2012, we joined the Windermere family as a way to better promote our services and rental listings. I understand the concerns and expectations of owners.
"Windermere managed my rental property for a couple years. If I was more experienced with property management companies, I would have fired them within the first month. I live out of state and was trying to rent out my previous home; a townhouse on the SW Waterfront. I was perplexed that my house was not renting despite dropping the price below rental market value. Finally after 6 months of no interest, I reached out to my neighbors who told me there wasn’t even a rental sign in front of the house! I asked Rena Rebe to put up a sign and it was rented within weeks. Two weeks before the tenant moved in, my brother went to empty out a couple of personal belongings which were in the garage. Windermere had disposed of them, including my recently deceased grandfather’s crystal lamps. They did this without warning. After the first year, my tenants lease was up for renewal. I was debating selling the property or continuing to rent it out. I had disclosed this to Windermere, asking about the process. Unbeknownst to me, tenant laws were changing at this time. They failed to disclose that, which locked me into a new lease that I could no longer terminate without paying relocation fees to my tenant. Rena Rabe ended up leaving Windermere and Chris Bentley took over my contract. He was frequently out of the office and it was near impossible to receive answers from him or any of Windermere’s staff. When I would set up a time to talk, he would ask me to “remind him of the appointment”, which was scheduled for less than 24 hrs. When I finally came to my senses and closed the account with them, they did not refund the full amount on my account. It has been two weeks of phone calls and e-mails with no response back from accounting or Chris. The account was closed a month and a half ago."

Whether you should repair or replace your window screens depends on the severity of the damage and the screen’s age. For large tears or holes or multiple points of damage, replacing your screen may be more cost-effective than attempting to repair the damage. If your screens are more than 10 years old, they may continue to give you issues after repair, so it’s likely worth replacing them. We recommend hiring a local screen repair technician, as they will have tools on hand for a repair or replacement and can recommend the best course of action.
It’s possible to make minor screen repairs yourself using a waterproof adhesive for small tears or a screen patch kit for larger tears and holes. However, it’s usually a better option to call in a professional window technician. It’s very easy to use too much waterproof glue, resulting in a messy appearance that might demand a full replacement anyway. A screen repair technician will not only be able to carry out clean repairs and patches that aren’t obvious, but they can also let you know if replacing your screen is a more cost-effective option.
Window screen repair costs around $310 on average, ranging from $100 to $480, depending on material, the type of window screen, the window size, the accessibility of the window, and whether you need to replace the window screen frame. You can save money on window screen repair costs by using a more affordable material like vinyl or fiberglass, rescreening instead of replacing them, and swapping multiple screens at once to combine labor costs.
Screen repair is always worthwhile, as tears and holes in your windows and door screens are unsightly and allow pests and debris into your home, rendering the screen useless. The faster you repair your screens, the faster you can open your windows and doors freely to let the fresh air in. Consider repairing multiple door and window screens during one appointment with a screen repair technician to make the investment and labor costs worth it.
Some hardware or specialty window stores in your area may repair damaged screens, but it’s less time-consuming, more convenient, and potentially more affordable to hire a screen repair technician to come to your home to do the work on-site. The screen technician will have the tools and experience to get the work done the same day, and they can inspect other screens while there to help avoid repeat repair costs in the future.
