Rockstar Remodel

Fantastic. Brendan not only performed his own work, but assisted us with moving ahead on the rest of our kitchen remodel. Very courteous, prompt, and detail oriented. The finished work looks great and it was done for a good value. Very simply, he's everything you'd hope for out of a contractor.

Our project went very well and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Brendan.  He is friendly, polite, professional and respectful.  I particularly appreciated his clear communication via phone, email and text messaging.   We liked his approach to bidding on projects: he builds very clear, itemized bids (labor and material estimates) and adjusts them as needed to reflect changes that occur along the way.  Updated estimates are signed-off along the way so there is no confusion about the direction a project is heading in.  Brendan makes every effort to stay close to budget so this process fairly accommodates the changes that realistically will occur during the course of a remodel.   It was good to know that he would not cut a corner to keep a project within a fixed cost bid - nor would he discourage us from changing our mind on a decision along the way.  Brendan takes pride in his work and clearly enjoys the process of transforming a space. He is trustworthy and honest and his prices are reasonable.

I found Rockstar Remodel on another review site. It was kind of a leap of faith. We knew no one, and disliked all the contractors that we met with to discuss our remodel. Brendan of Rockstar Remodel responded quickly to my email query, and was able to meet us and discuss our plans in person.  Brendan is very professional and personable.  He is honest and transparent in his quotes.  (We had a hard time getting line-by-line estimates from some contractors. But Brendan provides everything in writing).  My husband and I had a good feeling about moving forward with Brendan. 
He arrived on time, worked hard and consistently throughout the project. We could tell that he is very methodical and precise in his project plans. He is also very responsive - email, text, phone...no matter how we reached out, he always responded quickly. A few times, I changed my mind about what I wanted to be in the remodel. Mid-job, Brendan always adapted easily to my change of plans. After a thorough discussion of what was wanted, and providing another estimate (change request), he'd move on to work. For example, at one point, near the end of the project, I decided to add built-in bookshelves to our living room.  I showed a picture to Brendan, and the next day, the picture had come to life.  He is excellent at putting an idea into reality, especially wood/cabinets/shelving. We are so happy with our custom shelves! They are a thing of beauty. 
Briefly, Brendan is creative, hard-working, cost-efficient, neat and just mellow.  He is probably the only person who has worked on our  house long-term that I actually enjoyed seeing in my house every day. 
If you've ever done a remodel, you know how it can make you uneasy to demo a part of your house.  I was incredibly nervous about demo'ing my kitchen. With Brendan, my fears were calmed. He is just a really great guy to work with, who happens to know a lot about remodeling. We have scheduled another remodel with Brendan for another time. Business is booming for Rockstar Remodel, because Brendan is the real deal. So if you want him, call him today!

It went fantastic.  The guys is a stud.  He had all the materials at hand and ready to go at the start of the job.  I think he might actually be a bit of a perfectionist, because there was not a flaw in his tile work or refinishing of the floors.  Great job all around.  Did I mention he finished ahead of schedule?  Can't recommend him enough.

Brendan responded quickly to my initial query, fit us into his busy schedule, showed up exactly when he promised to, was pleasant and courteous, worked quickly, and solved the immediate problem effectively. We have worked with Rockstar Remodel several times over the years, for big projects (a kitchen remodel) and smaller jobs (light installations, etc.) and have always been very happy with his work. We hope to work with Brendan for years to come as needs arise.
