Stafford & Son BuildersWe hired Tom to complete an addition/renovation project for us and are extremely happy with the results. We have a disabled child so built a first floor accessible bedroom suite to accommodate his care. The project also involved renovating existing space including removing a load-bearing wall, and adding a new deck. I was impressed with Tom from the first encounter. I had about 15 different contractors quote the project and Tom spent the most time looking at the project, taking measurements, and asking detailed questions others did not. When I told him what I did for work he then dropped three names of colleagues of mine that he had done work for and they all had very positive things to say about him when I asked. He put together a detailed and transparent quote and had a very competitive price. Tom was at the house daily throughout the project and was very attentive to detail ensuring everything was done with high quality craftsmanship. He was flexible when we wanted to make changes or additions, and fair and transparent in his pricing providing quotes from his vendors. He was responsive throughout via phone/text/email. All his workers, whether those he directly employs or subcontractors, were professional and respectful and we felt comfortable having them in our house. The final product turned out great and we couldn't be happier. Several of our neighbors have already had him complete projects for them as well. We definitely plan on using him again for our next project!- Eric D.

We are writing to rave about Geoff's work. We had two projects; one was a small shower downstairs and one was a complete remodel upstairs. After seeing the shower Geoff rebuilt for us, we asked Geoff to work on the remodel. I must say in the small space to which Geoff had to work with, he did an amazing job. It went beyond our expections, in particular, the glass shower door. The tile work is beautiful so having the glass door really made it pop. As for our bigger project upstairs, the complete remodel, I think only photos can do it justice. We do want to add that Geoff was very patient with us and guided us with design ideas while being cautious not to push toward up selling. What was important to us is that Geoff addressed all our concerns; trying to minimize the impact to our house, constantly updating us, offering the 2nd job after the first job, and the high quality of his work. From the beginning to the end of the project, Geoff is always accessible. He called us, texted us and emailed us. Anyone who is looking for a contractor knows that is a rare quality. We highly recommend Geoff Byers and First Quality Contracting LLC.

These guys are the best plumbers I have ever hired! We had a kitchen pipe blockage. Based on a neighbors recommendation, we called RPG. They were great to work with, arrived when scheduled, clearly explained everything, and on top of all that, they also corrected the routing of my kitchen lines so that it would be easier to clean out a blockage if it were to occur in the future. I am extremely pleased with the work they did and the pricing was extremely fair. Outstanding work and won't hesitate to hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

Phil Carter, president of the company, contacted us within a day of leaving a message on his answering machine explaining the issues. His foreman, David, was out to my house within a week, to assess the situation. Prior to AIG, we had dealt with another company in the fall/winter of 2018 because of the same issue but clearly it went only partly resolved. This company came back and evaluated the situation again at which time we were told we now had structural damage to our foundation that would require pilings. We are so very fortunate to have gotten another opinion. David immediately told us that we absolutely did not have structural damage to our foundation but definitely had moisture issues that could be rectified by extending the underground downspout to include the back right corner and to add a moisture barrier to the crawlspace underneath the affected part of our house. Prior to the work being done, the humidity levels in the affected part of our home stayed in the high 90's. We agreed to have the work done and within 24hours, the hygrometer reading dropped to 40% and has remained in the 40's consistently since that time. Both David and Phil have called a few times since the work was done to check on the humidity readings. Our floors are almost flat again, but unfortunately, the sub flooring is permanently damaged from moisture and will have to be replaced. David will come back next spring to evaluate the crawl space making sure the moisture issue has resolved before the next phase begins.
