The initial contact with Chase was stellar customer service! - Green Scene Irrigation and LandscapingGreen Scene installed a paver patio in January of 2022. Although the patio itself does look good, I could not recommend them for other projects. The Good: The basic patio installation was done quickly and the patio itself does look good. The Bad: Terrible communication from start to finish with the office. After we selected them for the project entirely because they were available before anyone else, I had to debate with them to get them to follow through on the promised start date (eventually they did start and finish the patio itself within the promised timeline). As soon as they got paid, they became even slower to respond and never came back to finish some of simple final touches to work that had been promised (burying a water runoff drain they installed, adding dirt and sod around the patio where paver edging is 4 inches above the ground). They also did not move irrigation lines as promised and multiple sprinkler zones now need to be repaired. After 3+ months of following up to get them to complete these finishing touches, I have given up

It was really amazing to see them build the forms including the fire pit with wood and pour the complete forms. When they finished by 7:00 pm , I had a beautiful 18 x26 foot concrete patio with a built in fire pit plumbed for a natural gas fire pit. I would hire these guys again in a second. They were fabulous!!! They were very meticulous in how they completed the process!!! If you want perfection, this crew will deliver!!! Thanks so much for a beautiful Patio!!

Chris even came on Saturday to finish up and on Sunday to check that the work was satisfactory. Plantings around new patio and walkway are great with good advice of selections. "Quality of work was very good. All mold and mildew was removed better than expected. I handed the Owner a check for the work approximately 5 days after it was completed. I checked the quality of the cleaning, but nothing else.
<br /> The problem was in addressing items damaged during the work that I didn't catch until a day after I paid. Had an outdoor sensor for a temperature/humidity monitor which either was removed or knocked down during work. I fixed it myself.
<br /> The same day, I went to use my $50 outdoor hose reel that was used during the work. I found that it was broken. Called the Owner that day. He said he would replace it. No response or hose reel over the next week. Called approximately 7 days later and Joe said he checked with his helper who said the hose reel was broken.when he first saw it. I don't think so, but at this point, I'm in no position to dispute it, and obviously in a week the check I wrote cleared the bank.
<br /> My recommendation for similar work in this area would be to get competitive bids, do not let the workers use any of your tools or equipment (in fact hide it). and do not hand over a check until every aspect of the work was checked including your hose connections, outdoor devices, etc.
