Welcome to A Step Above Construction we specialize in decks all concrete,ceramic tiles all remodeling from bathroom to kitchen I am osha 30 certified and with fifteen years experience we look forward to working with you.
"They removed the door and c replaced with a new one. Before they put the frame they realized that sheet rock needs replacement and they said they cannot put the frame and then remove it again to fix the sheet rock. They said they will come back in Thursday. The owner texted me acting 240p when I contacted him asking what time they will be here to finish the job. He said he is coming himself to make sure the job is properly done. I didn’t hear from them until around 5:43pm he said he was caught in traffic and will arrive around 7pm and I told them it’s too late because I was going to sleep because I have to go to work tomorrow. That’s when I texted him that he should have told me earlier that they are going bit be late. That’s when we started exchanging texts which I posted on the website. I told him that that’s not right to do that to a customer. He said that I can keep the door and send me $20 for the frame. I paid him $700 for a $750 job and the job is not finished. Putting the shed rock he had said it will be extra $100 to make it $850 and he wanted all the money on Monday and I refused to pay all of it because I was afraid they might not come back and which I am now realizing that that’s what happened."

Uzi and his crew did such a great job we kept adding new jobs to the project around the house such as installing new hardwood floors in the bedroom, hall, and a downstairs master. I could not be more happy with his work and my wife is extremely thrilled. His crew was always prompt and all were very hard workers. Will probably have him back in the fall for to put in a retaining wall and screened in porch. Thanks for the great job! Our house is amazing now!"

"Clint and his team were getting ready to start a minor renovation project when we had to pivot due to our house "getting flooded" due to backed up inlets in the street. I called our insurance, and their recommended contractor did not even call me back, but Clint and his team immediately swung into action and helped with the remediation and correcting the issue (cleanup, flood cuts, structure dry out, replacement of damaged walls, floors, millwork, etc.). I met with my Landscaper to review some extensive exterior work (storm erosion cleanup, correct leaning retaining wall, replace eroded stone areas and damaged rip rapped channel) and he could not get to it, but Clint and his team were able to get a crew out there immediately to correct these issues also. I would highly recommend Clint and his team at Mid Tenn Trades. Their attention to detail is superb."

"My husband and I have been wanting to place a privacy fence in our back yard since fall of 2023, we called multiple local businesses with no answer and very little call backs. My husband found Legacy Outdoor Living on Angi's List. Immediately we got a call back and met Austyn with a quote for a 350 foot cap & rail privacy fence. We waited about 3 months from the initial quote to the day of installing the fence. Until that time we had prepared by cutting trees down, stump grinding, and surveying the land. Now, it is January and the weather has been so unpredictable. That did not stop Austyn from coming to work in frigid temperatures with 6 inches of snow and ice.
