- Home Remedy LLCI called Home Remedy, LLC who sent a man out the very same day. He examined the damage and explained what they would do to properly repair everything. Later the same day he emailed a proposal to me, which I thought was a fair price, so I accepted it. The next morning two men came out. One man resealed the flashing around the chimney while the other man started placing drop cloths over the floor and hanging floor-to-ceiling plastic curtains around the work area in the dinning room to protect my floor and furnishings. Together, they removed all of the wet sheetrock and wet insulation and hauled it away. Because the ceiling joists needed time to dry completely, they temporarily covered the hole in the ceiling with plastic and scheduled a date to return a few days later. On the scheduled day, one man returned to complete the project. He installed new insulation and new sheetrock in both places, the dinning room and bathroom, and taped and floated it. The next day, he sanded and finished the sheetrock, painted the entire ceiling and one wall in the dinning room and adjoining entry hall. Before he left, he throughly cleaned up the work areas. The people at Home Remedy did a magnificent job! I am completely satisfied with their workmanship. There is no indication that the damage had ever occurred
