We hired Mo from Ecological Living to complete a significant home addition and renovation. The project involved constructing a large garage, game room, bedroom, and bathroom, as well as converting our old garage into a utility room, bedroom, and two bathrooms. This was a complex job, expanding our home from 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Unfortunately, our experience with Mo was highly disappointing. Key issues included: 1. Slow Progress and Missed Deadlines: The project took far longer than anticipated, causing considerable frustration and disruption. 2. Unjustified Charges: Mo repeatedly billed us for services we did not request, raising concerns about the transparency of his invoicing practices. 3. Unprofessional Behavior: Mo was extremely pushy and rude about payment deadlines, showing little regard for open communication or professionalism. 4. Fraudulent Invoicing: A particularly troubling incident involved Mo submitting a modified flooring invoice, inflating costs to increase his take-home pay. Despite giving him an opportunity to rectify this, he remained rude, uncooperative, and difficult to engage unless he needed something from us. While the craftsmanship was largely acceptable, significant errors were made in critical areas, including in laying the foundation, which are costly and inconvenient to address. Overall, the project was both over budget and plagued by unnecessary delays. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Mo or Ecological Living to anyone. I strongly urge potential clients to avoid working with him, as his practices raise serious ethical and professional concerns.

I had a great experience with the Ecological Living Inc. company. They did design and landscaping job around my house. I would like emphasize that Mo Alziq is a very punctual, responsible and professional person with an excellent work ethics. The people he hired showed the same work performance. I did not have any stress with this team and It was pleasure working with the team. I highly recommend them.

It was great working with Mo and his team - the quality of work was very high and it was easy to trust & engage with his team. They did laminate in my bedrooms and hardwood oak on my stairs - they were the only vendor to work hard to match my other original hardwood oak. My only feedback is to agree the scheduled timeline with Mo in advance. I will be coming straight to Mo for my next project!

I have used ecological living for many services over the years. Everything is done perfectly or made perfect with no issues. I have used them for things as small as replacing an outlet or as large as rebuilding one of my hospitals after hurricane Harvey. Amazing people.

I had an idea of what i wanted but didn t know how to express it and Mo helped me the whole way and built my dream kitchen i highly recommend ecological living

DO NOT USE ECOLOGICAL LIVING TO POUR YOUR CONCRETE. Mo, our contact with Ecological Living, was quick to respond and friendly to work with up until the point we needed him to fix a mistake his workers made. They made multiple concrete pours for our community that looked great...except... the last pour, which started cracking and crumbling almost immediately after it was poured. He initially acknowledged the cracks and came out and poured some grout in. But, the concrete continued to crumble to the point where you could pick up pieces and have it fall apart in your hand. NOT what concrete is supposed to do. After reaching out to him again to request that it be fixed, he was very aggressive and combative. He then had the nerve to charge us double the initial cost to come re-pour it, even when it was their poor workmanship that caused the issue. He finally agreed to come fix it for free, and then has not. This was a lot of money for our community to spend and it has been a very stressful experience. Save yourself the stress and go with someone else.

We hired Ecological Living to completely renovate our 1960s ranch home. Mo and his team provided excellent service for mechanical work, replacing all the indoor plumbing and electrical, to framing rooms and installing custom cabinetry. His crews were always professional and we trusted them with our space. The carpenter was the shining star among all the team, building out custom cabinets in two bathrooms and the kitchen. Hardwood floor installation was excellent, well-fit, stained, finished, and left clean. We have since referred Ecological Living for friends and family from small projects like bathroom remodels to full-home assessments. Months after the project has finished, Mo has not hesitated to send out crews to touch up and fix minor things that have popped up. I had a bad experience with my previous floor repair project, so this time I requested 3 pros just to be cautious, Ecological was not the lowest bidder but I was impressed with Mo's detailed evaluation so decided to go with them instead of the other two vendors with lower quote. I am glad that I made that decision. The team not only did a fantastic job replacing the floor, when they suppose to partially replace the damaged door trim (as part of the contract) but realized that my current trim was discontinued, they went ahead replaced the entire trim, Ray even spent the effort to paint the trim (the new trim came with a bit different color than the rest of the door/trim inside the house) so that they match the color with the rest of the interior. On the last day, Mo and I did a walk through and found out a few small spots need final touch (which is complete normal) and clean up, Mo quickly scheduled the revisit and fixed everything perfectly. I am really happy with the result, and big shout out to Mo and Ray!

Originally had COIT in to clean/polish my floors but stopper them before the polish as I wasn t happy with their work. Mo arrived on time told me how he could fix it and we scheduled him within 2 weeks. Floors look great , crew was professional. Couldn t be happier with the work.

Mo and his team went above and beyond in our flooring repair project, constantly engaging me and seeking my input, even though I was away from the work. The team were consummate professionals while doing the job, with meticulous attention to details and cleanliness. Mo quoted some other work while in the process and we re getting that done too. I ve found my speed dial number 1 for home projects!!
