"This customer is not being truthful to say the least. I was the third contractor to work on this home. The other two were quit way before they got anything done. I wonder why? I did not walk off the job. This lady told me she did not want me to finish the job. How can she complain about work not completed. I never told her this job was finished and ready for her inspection. All construction has a rough-in period with the finish work coming at the proper times towards the end. Notice she says she substantially reduced the work awarded to my company. This is not a true statement. She fired my company. She also stated that we would not brush and roll the walls per her request. This is also not true. We would never do it any other way. This is how you paint walls and ceilings: with a brush and a roller. She wanted me to brush and roll the doors, window trim, window sills all the wood work in the home. This house was completely empty and no flooring. As a matter of fact no electrical nothing was in place. I simply told her that would be more money and would not look as good. The bottom line is this customer thinks she knows everything about construction and was completely unreasonable about everything. That is why the other contractors walked off the job (I guess). We did a lot of good work in her home including finishing out the drywall, texturing walls/ceilings. We also purchased and hung all the doors except for one set of French doors. We trimmed out every window in the home, and we trimmed out the closets. Her complaints are without merit as none of these jobs were finished, and I maintain the work we did was done well. I never once said I was going to file a lien on this house. I never threatened her with court and or legal service. She asked me what I wanted to not file a lien and I told her then: 15k. I am done with this lady; but obviously she is not done with me. Please see my other reviews on Angi and judge me for the overall rating. This is not a normal customer. Bob Dimon"
