"The installation mostly went well. The installer showed up on time, hauled everything up three flights of stairs (making several trips) and worked efficiently. My only problem with the installation was that the sealing and painting of the window frame was left to me, a detail that was never shared until after installation. I feel like Brighton should have made that clear ahead of time. Here's why I won't hire Brighton again. When I put out a request for a quote back in November, the Brighton rep, Steve, was at my building within 48 hours. After accepting the quote and placing a deposit, I barely heard from him. We waited almost five months for installation from time of deposit and, for the first three months or so there was zero communication by Brighton. I reached out and was told that there were supply issues getting my window in which I completely understand. COVID has messed everything up and I know it's not Brighton's fault. This is bigger than all of us. I do wish, however, that someone would have reached out to me just to give me a heads up. From that point forward I reached out every so often for updates, often never hearing back. It was only when I called the office and asked to speak to Steve that I made some headway. The office asked what my call was regarding and I said, "the several emails he hasn't responded to." Following this exchange, Steve was in contact with me but there were constant delays due to weather--which I completely understand--but the reschedule was always, "hey, we'll be there tomorrow." I mean, I have a job. I need notice. I'm not on call for this. And when they cancelled--again, usually due to reasonable circumstances--it was at the last minute. TL:DR - installation was fine, the process leading up to it was enormously frustrating and lacked communication.

"We had a great experience working with Habitar/Stratagem to design and remodel the kitchen in our hundred-year-old house. During the design process, we worked closely with Hannah to come up with a plan that would fit our lifestyle and use our space more efficiently. We also had 2 doors that were warped and needed some other odds and ends fixed or repaired. <br />We called about 6 different places and then found storm design and builders. The man that answered ended up being the man that came to our home to give us a quote. I found out that he was the owner. Which made us feel that much better because it felt like he was overseeing the job from start to finish. <br />When I was showing him the things we needed done, my wife reminded me of the painting we needed done. So he took notes and said he would be in touch with us by the end of the day. <br />He called and then emailed a copy of the proposal to us. It listed every possible thing that needed to be done in great detail! "Alex and his team do a great job every time we have them come out to clean our gutters. We have some short needle pine trees that seem to dump a metric ton of needles every year and it seems like 95% of them end up in our gutters! His team comes out, ensures that every gutter is spotless and is also helpful in pointing out any issues they see, but doesn't try and upsell you on other services.
