I called a family member who knows about home repair and he said to call a plumber asap because it sounded like my main sewer line was blocked. This was Sunday afternoon around 1:00 pm. I had used this vendor before and had thier number on my fridge - called thier afterhours number and left a message - was called back within 15 minutes and was told that a repairman would be dispatched. He arrived at my home before 2:30 pm. He looked around throughly and dug out the sewer line - on a rainy day and in the mud. He discovered that a holly bush had grown roots into the main sewer line and crushed it - the drain was completely impacted and raw sewage was draining into the ground. He could not complete the repairs in Sunday but he applied a temporary patch to get me through the day. Mary called me at 7:30 am on Monday and the repairman was at the house at 8:30 with the parts to complete the repair. He dug out further and ended up replacing about 3 feet of sewage line and he installed a clean out pipe to prevent issues like this in future. My older home didn't have one so he brought it up to current code. He was very good at explaining things and was diplomatic about items he found lodged in the pipes. I appreciated the advice and great communication. I only missed about 3 hours of work and he cleaned up the area and replaced the dirt neatly. The repaired area will look fine after I get some mulch on it

'All was well for a few days then I had to call again a few nights later when the pipes in the laundry room and the kitchen sinks and the hall bath started backing up. This time, Cyrus came out, He took up the commode from the hall bath and ran the camera both directions. He pulled out the usual suspects. old food, grease etc. The problem is that the pipes are all iron and over time get "burrs" in the inside of those pipes. These burrs catch and hold all the gunk etc. so that it cannot wash on out as it should. Cyrus pressure washed the pipes and got everything flowing as it is supposed to. With his input we decided that these old pipes could benefit from a periodic clean out to prevent them from backing up. I have another job for them or several small ones. I have been so impressed with every technician that has come out from this company. Excellent men, hard workers who took care to help me and leave the house floors clean

"Customer service was outstanding and had our quote in a couple days time. Once we accepted the quote, they called 811 (call before you dig) and scheduled an emergency marking of all utilities which was done the same day. The repairman arrived earlier than expected and started immediately. He was very courteous and explained what was to be done. The excavation was completed without any damage to utilities or irrigation lines. Once the bad sewer pipe was cut out, he made a new pipe section and skillfully installed it, then backfilled to a rough grade. He then performed cleanup of the area. I was surprised when he pulled out a hose and washed dirt off the front porch, sidewalk and street, as well as the excavator. Total repair time was 4 hours. We've used Rapid Rooter before and plan to use them for all of our future plumbing needs.
