"[Member Name Removed], the facts surrounding this work has been significantly stretched by you. You were quoted $500 when we thought it was a 1000 gallon tank, once you informed us that it was 1500 gallons we told you $675, this was quoted well in advance of showing to complete the job. We would never force someone to have a remediation completed, but we do encourage it after many years of use, and when the filter / baffle have not been working correctly. You agreed, so we completed the job. We absolutely require payment upon day of service. If you did not offer a check on the day of the job (which we rarely accept anyways due to past incidents surrounding check payment), we have to assume you plan to pay by debit or credit. The invoice was sent day of service, which was a Saturday, and you didn’t pay until Monday afternoon. When the office repeatedly asked that you confirm receipt of invoice your response was that “you were busy and didn’t have time to look, would check in the morning.” That’s just not acceptable. Your attitude was less than accommodating or pleasant as you continued to speak over and use foul language. At that point when the accounts are not cleared over 48 hours, yes, the owner called to collect payment. To clarify, we did completed the pump out, and yes we leave 6-8” of waste to maintain proper bacteria growth and to avoid noxious smells, the “screen” you keep referencing is a baffle / filter in which was installed but you were requesting a serial # which those do not have. As Lou was digging you’ll recall there was a gas odor in which he called the gas company to come and investigate for safety purposes. He was advised that upon completion to not finish covering or packing the area as they were to return for repairs on YOUR gas leak, that was irrelevant and nothing we could do about that. As you’ll note, your complaint is far from the norm. Perhaps you would consider reflecting on the facts surrounding the appointment, the lack of payment or even acknowledging the invoice , and the manner in which you spoke to employees following the service to yield you and answer on why this was a less than pleasant experience for you. Whatever the reason, I assure you whatever issue it is your experiencing right now has nothing to do with our workmanship."
